The Sassy President is my Husband

The Sassy President is my Husband

Hello everyone so when I started writing the story, I wanted it to have as cute and as fluffy scenes as possible. Throughout the time, I have tried my best to do so. But, I can only know after you all inform me. This is going to be a light novel which means it is going to go on for at least 500 chapters and I am warning you all about it beforehand. There's a lot of mysteries which are going to come up and a lot of them which would be later on solved.

She asked and Maya tilted her head to one side. "I don't think so." She replied. "I have some mangas up with me, do you read?" She asked and Sanjana frowned. "You read comics?" She asked and Maya shook her head. "It's manga, different from comics." She stated and Sanjana turned her body to face Maya with a smile. "How are they different?" She asked and Maya smiled back wily at the woman before answering her question. "There are a lot of differences: First, they originate from different countries, Comics are mostly Western originated while the birth place of mangas is Japan. Second, Mangas are mostly black and white only with a few colored pages whereas comics are all colored. Third,-"

While Vincent was waiting on his seat, the three were lining up in the counter to make their orders. “Ahhh, I am still sleepy,” Joel complained. “Did you pull an all-nighter reading that anime again?” Edgar asked to Joel. “It’s not anime. Anime is made by animation. The drawing called Manga,” Joel explained. “Manga is fruit in tropical island, right?” Hunter asked, and the two ignored him.

I giddly replied, “I told you, you should’ve read the manga.” “I don’t like spoilers!” “I keep telling you that the manga comes out before the anime!” “Well stop introducing me to shows before I get a chance to read them! I haven’t even gotten a chance to finish reading what’s left of “Hunter X Hunter” before you insisted I watch, “My Hero Academia”!” “Okay. Fair.” I admitted. She did make a fair point. There have been moments when I get too excited about the chance to binge watch anime with Dola, only to later insist that she reads the manga. It’s a bad habit that I’m trying to break. But it’s also a habit that we share/

This one always makes me think of how a story unfolds in my hands versus how it unpacks in my head. When I'm reading a manga, the story hits me in this immediate, visceral way. The art dictates the pacing—a sudden splash page for a big reveal, a tiny panel focusing on a character's trembling hand. The artist controls my eye, and the dialogue is often snappier, more reactive to the visuals. You're not told someone looks terrified; you see their wide eyes and sweat droplet. The narrative weight is shared, sometimes leaning heavily on the illustrations to carry emotional beats or action.

With a light novel, it's all interior. The prose has to build that world from scratch inside your imagination. You get pages of a character's internal monologue, detailed descriptions of magic systems, and a slower, more deliberate unpacking of plot mechanics. The 'telling' versus 'showing' balance is totally different. A LN might spend a paragraph on the precise feeling of mana circulating, while a manga would show a glowing aura with a speed line. I find I get more attached to LN protagonists because I'm stuck in their head for so long, for better or worse. That said, a brilliantly drawn manga panel can convey a novel's worth of feeling in a single, silent image.
