So, I shouted one spell out loud, and it worked. ‘But only witches can use wands, so how is this possible?’ Leon asks. I take the wand from my pocket, whirl it around, and point at a shrub, ‘Inferno Flamo.’ I say, and we watch as nothing happens. I pass the wand to Gianna. ‘Inferno Flamo?’ she says. Again, nothing happens. ‘Why does it only work for May?’ I ask. Nina takes the wand. ‘Inferno Flamo.’ She says, and a gigantic ball of flame appears and flies fiercely through the air over a mountain. We hear the impact in the distance, causing a touch of smoke to rise into the sky.

She jabbed her wand in his direction and he suddenly could not move his hands. "Like I was saying" she continued in a calm tune like she did not just yell a few minutes ago. "These herbs include the mandrake root, mugwort, sage, bay Laurel leaves, and Rosemary. There are many others but we will look into the ones mentioned for a start" she revealed and brought one of the plants forward. "This.. is the mugwort plant" she announced, raising it for everyone to see. I stared at the weird-looking plant before, it did not look one bit like the one in Mrs. Springwood's hands. As a matter, the plant before me had a strange phallic shape that got me wondering if it is natural and not absurd.

“It will help, but not entirely. That is why I am here, I will train you to control your magic. We still have a week before your eighteenth birthday and a week to save your sister.” I gripped the wand tightly, finding some comfort in it. Yes, I will control my magic.
