Severing My Alpha's Mark

Severing My Alpha's Mark

It was the dead of night by the time I dragged my body from the dilapidated warehouse on the outskirts of Seattle back to our estate. The ritual had drained me of almost all my strength, leaving me feeling like half my soul had been ripped from my body. But it was all worth it. I glanced down at my left shoulder. The laurel tree mark, which once shimmered with a silver light, was now as dull as ash. It was the symbol of my eternal bond with Andrew, but now it just looked like a festering wound.

When the Moonmark Was Switched

When the Moonmark Was Switched

“If you won’t apologize, the marking ceremony next year will be postponed.” My chest tightened. I whispered, “And if you still fail to draw the Moonmark next year?” Seth lifted his eyes to mine, his gaze firm and unshakable. “I said it will happen. So it will.” He still believed everything was under his control. But he had no idea I already knew the lots had been tampered with. Nor did he know I had no more years left to waste waiting. I still said nothing. I had done nothing wrong. Why should I bow my head?

THE HOMELESS BILLIONAIRE

THE HOMELESS BILLIONAIRE

A bit forced though. Message recieved. Too personal questions offlimit. Mark returned the smile and got up from the couch. He needed to check if the weather is great for a good outing. He gazed out of the window....and froze. "Shit! She's here again!" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Wow… I loved the Alpha King’s Hated Slave and then decided to give this one a try… what a wonderful read. I love how all the characters grew through their suffering. This book shows so beautifully how true family is sometimes the ones we chose for ourselves and not the ones we were born into.

Becoming Chloe

Becoming Chloe

"We need to move." Chaos swirled around us as students scrambled down the stairs. In the rush, Mark suddenly appeared from the end of the hall. His eyes locked entirely onto Maya. He grabbed her hand firmly. "Chloe, come on. I know a shortcut through the side garage before they perimeter the backyard. Follow me." Maya looked back at me for a split second, her eyes filled with guilt and warning, before Mark pulled her down the back steps, successfully slipping through and out of sight.

The Forgotten Mark

The Forgotten Mark

The watch had since become a token of our love, and he never took it off aside from bath and bed. And yet, it was now in another woman's photo… Taking a deep breath, I put mine in a drawer. - Duke didn't return that night, so I went alone to the venue the next morning. I booked the place six months ago for the marking ceremony, but now, I'm here to cancel it. Still, I ran into Diana there—our neighbor, and a mate of one of Duke's sentries. Seeing me, she came over and took my hands, congratulating me endlessly before saying, "Oh, and I just saw Duke buying a car trunk full of champagne roses, and now I ran into you here! The marking ceremony is soon, I take it?"

Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

The glint in his eye told me he’d come not to catch up… but to stir the pot. I didn’t move at first. My hands were clenched behind my back, fingers digging into the fabric of my sleeves. The hall was buzzing… students moving between classes, magical sigils dancing on the domed ceiling overhead, teachers whispering incantations as they walked. And yet, Mark’s voice sliced through it all like a blade. He stopped in front of me, eyes gleaming. “Did you hear?” he said with a smirk. “They were only supposed to take one from our region. But thanks to Zane, someone else didn’t make it. Poor bastard blocked the slot.”

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

Marked in the Middle

Marked in the Middle

“The bridge between life and death. I was reborn through it… but rebirth has a price. There’s another presence in me now, something ancient. Something that remembers before gods.” Lira’s face paled. “Then we need to serve it, whatever that thing is, it’s using you.” Evelyn laughed softly, bitterly. “You think I haven’t tried?” She turned to the window. Outside, the morning light dimmed suddenly, clouds swirling into a spiral. “It’s already spreading, the mark wasn’t just mine, it’s a doorway. And it’s open now.” Kael’s stomach twisted. “Then close it.” “I can’t,” she whispered. “Not alone.”
