He was ready to change, and that’s all that mattered. I extended my hand to him, my ring finger pointing toward the box. I couldn't wait for him to slide the ring onto my finger. "Yes, I will marry you." I screamed, and he slid the ring onto my finger. He stood up, pulling me into a hug and lifting me off my feet. "Thank you for making me a complete man." He set me down gently and pulled me in for a small kiss. "Come sit down. I want to make something for you."

"The tuxedo looks great on you. If you like it, I'll buy it for you." She paused, then went on, "I admit I've been neglecting you lately, but that's only because you've been so stubborn, always trying to force me into things I'm not ready for. Just behave yourself. Once the company goes public and settles down, I promise I'll marry you." She seemed to assume I was so desperate to marry her that I had come to try on a wedding tuxedo all by myself.
