The White Wolf
“Esmeralda, you are glowing.”
“I’ve missed you.” The hard lines on his severe face softened. My kind, reverent, and loving man reappeared.
“I worship you.” He whispered and tackled me to the ground. His arms secured my head, and his body pinned me down, holding me in place so his lips could assault mine. I felt the energy wrap around us, knitting our auras together. Slivers of pain deepened our kiss. Tongues danced as we tried to engulf one another. “Marry me, Esmerelda.” The auras tightened and snapped, weaving threads of different colors into a new design. He panted over my mouth, waiting for me to speak. With a last pulse of magic, we were one.
