Married to His Couch, Not Me

Married to His Couch, Not Me

"These two were willing to scheme against a newborn baby. How could I risk my child's safety? "The only thing I could do was pretend to be heartless, push for a divorce, and buy myself enough time to gather the evidence I needed to protect my son." I took a deep breath and looked at the two of them, both pale and hollowed out. "I am formally requesting full custody of Lucas, and I am asking the court to rule that Adam Hargrove, on the grounds of marital infidelity and conspiracy to abduct an infant, leaves this marriage with nothing." Adam crumpled to the floor, staring at nothing, mumbling to himself. "It's over. It's all over."

Sir, You're Spoiling Me!

Sir, You're Spoiling Me!

After all, soy sauce and pasta were expensive in ancient times. Valerie became more confused. "Darling, it's so sophisticated. I don't understand." Kieran explained, "I'm praising you." "Oh, okay. Are there any weaknesses?" Valerie asked. Following the post-marriage survival rule for men, Kieran promptly said, "No!" Valerie immediately laughed. "Wow, really? Then, hurry up and finish it." Kieran fell silent again. Kieran successfully dug a pit for himself and buried himself alive. He looked at the salty pasta and reluctantly picked up his cutlery.

MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE

MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE

He pretended to be nice to his mom like Miss Daisy was present. Miss Daisy knew nothing about our contract marriage. So, I chalked a plan to make things work in my favor. “Yes, I know! Even I cannot wait to serve them all.” I added whilst putting the enormous plate made him. It was an English dinner. The plate was well decorated with roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, fish and chips, bangers and mash, shepherd’s pie his favorite, Cornish pasty, and many more. I rushed again towards the kitchen, came back with a glass of wine, and poured it into the glass. I placed everything on the table.

Don't Marry Him

Don't Marry Him

A familiar Maybach pulled up in front of the house. Adrian got out with his arm around Avery. The two of them chatted and laughed as they walked inside. I dragged my suitcase behind me, headed downstairs, and naturally ran into them at the landing. Avery waved her marriage certificate in front of my face. "Leaving so soon, Clara? Adrian's so eager. We finished the divorce hearing this morning, but he's already registered his marriage with me by this afternoon." I didn't even look at her. My gaze went past the marriage certificate and settled on Adrian.

AFFAIR WITH MR ROLLAND

AFFAIR WITH MR ROLLAND

Then she took one mouth full of it in her mouth and chewed on it while Jasmine stared. “This is ridiculous.” Mrs Keid pushed the plate away and it fell to the floor and shattered. Jasmine flinched from the sound and then Donovan held her, before looking at her body for any damage from the shattered plate. Seeing there was none, he glared at his mom. “What was that for?!” “Your fiancee can't even cook and you want to marry her? She is a slut and a terrible cook! Who the hell puts bananas in mac and cheese?! Well, I guess the only thing you would be benefitting from her is good sex! At least she's good in that after sleeping with dozens of men.” Mrs. Keid glared at him.

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

"Up the ante." Erica struggled. "I don't know what to ask. Should we move on to the next round?" She pulled out a set of bizarre foods and placed them on the table. "You have one minute to finish a ghost pepper, a bitter melon, a glass of vinegar, and a handful of sugar." "Why?" Randy asked. "He has to taste sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy to marry the bride," Erica explained. "The wedding ceremony is coming up. Do you want him to show up with sausage lips?" Randy pointed out.

I really like this book but why is it being dragged so much? Debra keeps getting herself in weird situations like the Island kidnapping and then her engagement kidnapping. I get the authors are paid by pages but if it’s too dragged then the readers eventually lose interest and move to finished books
