‘This is amazing,’ she thought as she ran, catching a glimpse of a former walkway that quickly wove shut with vines as she passed. The maze was tricky. It would close up routes as you neared them, and even in an emergency, a wolf couldn’t dig through the vines, they were impenetrable. If you attempted to climb, like she had last time, the maze would sprout angry, bloodred thorns, sealing off the sky. Much like Thorne did. He would close up at any given time, despite the leeway you thought you had with him. And that was a toxic trait Ember wasn’t sure she could live with.

She shoved her eyes around, the interior almost left her astonished. The velvety carpet under her feet was so fluffy and rich. She was so busy praising her surrounding that she left behind. She tapped her head as she realized she was lagged behind. She rushed to match his pace. Ryan chuckled seeing Maze gasping for breath next to him,"Did you take part in the marathon? Why are you panting so much?"
