I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts before narrating everything that had transpired with James and Mia. "You mean to say James is now dead?" Callie, scared out of her wits, immediately grabbed Dan beside her and shoved him toward the lunging zombie.

The penthouse was covered in a sea of blood. I sat in front of the control panel in the underground bunker and looked at the mangled remains scattered across the screen. Then, I calmly reached out to shut off the screen. More than a dozen screens went black at the same time. As they went dark, all that hatred and betrayal were swallowed by the end of the world. I survived the most dangerous and chaotic first three months of the zombie virus outbreak.

In the next second, the more timid Zimmer women burst into loud screams of terror. Harvey York was standing there! The man rumored to be dead was actually standing there… he was alive! “Harvey… Harvey York?!” Senior Zimmer was shaking in his boots. He almost lost his balance and fell to the ground. “You…! You… are you a man or a ghost?!” The gleeful Zack Zimmer was terrified to the point where he almost hid under a table. Everyone was perplexed, scared out of their minds. ‘A man announced as deceased had come back to life?’

However, he no longer had the will to think too much about it. "Die!" A hundred and twenty zombies all said at the same time. The next second, all of the zombies charged right at Fane, looking like they were hungry for a taste of flesh. Fane had a cold look on his face as he pulled out a jet-black sword from Mustard Seed. With a stab, the blade pierced into the chest of a zombie. With the power to pierce through the void, it easily destroyed the weak soul energy within the zombie after piercing through its skin.

Third Person POV “Time for some fun guys,” Seris and Damon giggled through the mindlink. “Show him what you got guys !” Kael chuckled too. The “package” suddenly had six legs and was crawling up and down the man’s back. Needless to say the “package” was actually a spider-bot made up of silver which burnt the skin of any vampire or werewolf. The deadliest assassin in history was reeling under its effect which made everyone try hard to suppress their giggles and before he crumpled dead on the floor, he managed to wiggle out the bot out of his clothes and looked even deadlier with red bloodshot eyes.

He didn't even know how to feel about the last two minutes. "Zoe was a spy. He was trying to help him take over the pack. He wanted to..." "Stop talking, Zach. I'm going to get you help." Todd said and he meant it. There was no way he was letting him die. Todd bent over him and pressed firmly over his wound, but it was useless. He had bled out too much. "I'm not greedy, Alpha." Those were the last words he whispered before he gave up the ghost. Alpha Todd didn't have time to mourn too much because the cry of his youngest and favorite child rang out clearly.
