I lifted my head up from the book and looked straight into Matt’s face. “Matt? What are you doing here?” “I wanted something to read,” Matt said. “I’ve been spending a lot of time in the hospital with dad…” “Right,” I said, feeling foolish. “Of course.” He didn’t ask what I was doing there, but he did glanced down at the book I was reading. His eyes widened a little as he realized what it was. “That’s my father’s book.” “Yes. With everything going on, I just thought… Well… I wanted to know him better.”

***Naomi's POV*** -"Huh, nothing." Matt throws the book he was holding across the table. His eyebrows were frowned together, showing his growing frustration. He walks back to the Library's encyclopedia section, browsing through the nearby shelves. -"The pack's Library is enormous. I am sure we will find some answers. We just need to be patient." I say as I stroll through the book I am holding. Matt wasn't the only one running out of patience. Truth be told, mine was nearing its end as well.

There's no sign of anyone inside, but we go in anyway. I don't know what I was expecting. Beer cans everywhere, maybe a few pool tables, a bartender with piercings all over their face. I don't know. Something like that. What I wasn't expecting was an old man in a captain's uniform, reading a book by himself at the far end of the room. There's a large table in the center of the room, with a bunch of chairs in a circle. There are bottles everywhere, and the whole place smells like beer.
