“Your knee doesn’t seem broken, but we need to get you to the hospital for some X-rays” Valerian said to Matthew before he stood and picked up his medical bag. Chad brought the stretcher closer and I watched Valerian’s muscles ripple underneath his shirt as he gently picked Matthew up before placing him on the stretcher. He spoke directly towards me with a smile and a wave before he walked out with Chad while pushing the stretcher carrying Matthew. That smile caused my heart to do flips and leave me in a stupor. “It was a pleasure to see you Beta. If you want to visit your friend we will be at the hospital.”

"That piece of trash." Matteo cussed. "I told him to so I could come for you." Edward said looking at Matteo intensely. I walked over to him as he closed the door behind them. “Uriel is coming to Midnight to talk to Xavier. I told Warhammer Guard to send a message to Felix as well.” Matt looked at me, “And Dennis?” “The Authorities will find out… after we’ve gotten what we needed out of Xavier.” Matt grinned, his eyes flickered with a feral red light that warmed my heart and shook me. “If only I could see his face.” I nodded and climbed into the car, “Let’s head back.”

You’re going to beat me, Sasha!” Matt said, laughing “I just want to know why Matt is obsessed with it!” Sasha once laughed out. Matt just shook his head. He took wooden blocks and made them fall. “It’s broken,” Ashlee said Matt laughed. Matt’s already returning the Jenga blocks to their box. Gaby looked at Clark. His two elbows are on his thigh, and his head is on his two hands.

Then, finally— “Who was that?” Jordy blinked. “Just someone from school.” Matt nodded once, but his expression didn’t change. “You seemed… comfortable,” he said. Jordy frowned slightly. “What does that mean?” “Nothing,” Matt replied quickly. Too quickly. Jordy studied him for a second, then leaned closer. “Matt.” Matt sighed, running a hand through his hair again. “I didn’t like it,” he admitted.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down enough to explain in a way he would understand and do something about it immediately.
