He was clutching an iPad, the screen already aglow.
Edward turned away from the window slowly, his expression unreadable, and sank into the black leather of his swivel chair. Without a word, he accepted the iPad from Matt. At first, he scrolled with the detachment of a man used to half-baked news, but then his posture sharpened. His eyes narrowed, scanning line after line, the corners of his mouth twitching into something that looked like a smile.
