She shivered as she walked, enjoying the view. As she was walking, she came to the second hideout the girls planned to use. The hideout was a large treehouse of sorts. One of the giant trees had died decades ago and had been hollowed out by weather and wild animals. The roots branched out above ground and made a hilly path around the tree. Underneath one of the roots, there was a small hole where a person could easily slide inside if they were small enough. Susanna tried to slide inside the hole and found she fit easily. She slid back out, making sure to drop her scent along the way. She wanted the Kreil to see the tree and scope it out on their way through.

“ So what can you tell us about these hunters?” I asked her to make her a sandwich just the way she likes it, three slices of ham, mayo, mustard and a pickle on the side with mustard on it.
