Max wondered for a second if it was the boys or it was the Watson’s they wanted to killed. “I don’t know how we are going to handle this.” The woman said as she looked Max up and down. The last boy, the Dean he just found in the cellar looked at him and tried to go to him. The Doctor was holding on to his arm. “I think you should let go of him like that.” Max said as his voice got deeper. “That one and his twin are different. They aren’t like the others. Plus that one is mine.” “Max Anderson I knew what you and Deanna were going to do.” The older woman smiled.

***** The long hallway of the mansion was bright and quiet. The maids passing through the corridor bowed slightly as she walked past with her heels clicking softly against the marble floor. When she entered the dining room, the smell of food hit her immediately; a mix of fresh pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The sweet aroma filled her nose, reminding her that she hadn't eaten breakfast, but she couldn't care less, the plan had to be carried out first. At the table, Harold sat across from Max. They were both eating. Harold’s tall figure looked tired, and his dark hair was slightly messy from sleep.

In the Wrenford mansion’s backyard, white tents stood tall, adorned with neatly arranged fresh flowers along the path. It was a big day for Max, the man who had stood beside Xavier from the very beginning, from boardrooms to moments of crisis. Xavier stood on the upper balcony, gazing down. From there, he could see Max in a light gray suit talking with guests. His steps were steady, yet Xavier noticed the small movement of Max’s hand, the way he tapped his fingers against his pants whenever he felt nervous.

He orders, and we have no choice but to abide. It's not too long until we emerge from the forest and pull up to a mansion of a house, which I know all too well is Maxwell's pack house. Maxwell is a lavish man who likes expensive and extravagant things, and it reflects in the estate before us, glistening in the early morning sun as it appears above the horizon. Mika immediately came into the scene as well, The three had a little funny chat and they made jest of Lauren and her arrogant mother. Hannah returned to the cemetery-like mansion owned by the Harrison family. Edward pushed Alden's wheelchair into the family room, and Hannah followed. It was the first time she had stepped inside a warm family room with earth tones. Beige suede couches and a thick dark brown carpet in front of the fireplace. Hannah's eyes caught the family photo hanging above the fireplace. Maxim, his wife, and two boys of elementary and kindergarten age. Hannah was a little surprised to learn that Maxim Harrison had two sons.

Gunfire thundered down the corridor. Maxwell didn’t look at Jonathan. But he felt it. That calculation. That stillness. Too controlled. Too ready. “You knew,” Maxwell said without turning. Jonathan fired twice, clean precision shots dropping two advancing operatives. “Knew what?” “About Morocco.” Jonathan didn’t answer. Another wave surged forward. Maxwell shoved a fallen cabinet into the hallway, creating partial cover. “You built that facility,” Maxwell continued coldly. “You said it yourself.”

“My parents weren’t sure I’d wake up. They needed me hidden. Safe. And they off the grid.” He exhaled slowly. “The next two years were spent healing, knowing I would come for him, even if it would take my life to do it.” My gaze painfully dropped to Chris’ body again. “I’ve been watching him,” Maxton admitted. “For a long time. I knew when he burned his own shop recently. I knew when he took that doctor yesterday. I was not with any weapon- I would have saved that man.
