I still hoped that one day we would meet again. I didn't know almost twenty years would pass before our paths crossed for the second time.

I feel like I want to say that I miss him and want to plan another meeting, but I don't feel like it's appropriate for that. Meanwhile, Rylee hasn't invited me to meet again, even though I was really looking forward to his short message. He has continued to discuss his life and work over the past few weeks, and so have I.
