Priya appears from the kitchen in an oversized shirt and bare feet carrying a tray with coffee and sets it on the table and looks at the room with deep satisfaction. "Nobody has to be anywhere before noon," she announces quietly. "Coffee's on. Pastries in twenty minutes." She goes back to the kitchen. Dominic appears behind her briefly, rumpled and warm, and follows her in. Maya sits up and takes a coffee and wraps both hands around the mug and looks at me over the rim and her hair is everywhere and her makeup is mostly gone and she is wearing my shirt from last night which she must have pulled on at some point and she is genuinely the most beautiful thing I have seen in this or any morning.
