“Go.” Upon Crone’s command, all of the scorpions instantaneously rushed at the Hunters. Screeches from the scorpions and their footsteps filled the air even though it was in the vast open desert. Seeing the numbers of the scorpions swarming them, it was as if they were backed against a wall. “[Strength] [Versatile] [Longevity] [Haste]” Mira casted buffs on all the Hunters. She was also doing her best to also attack the scorpions.

This cruel maze tormented the participants, intentionally impeding their progress with zombies and malignant beings. Some beastmen and women unknowingly walked into a pit of boiling lava, in a bid to find the exit. However, the worst threat within this labyrinth was the Dracevine Terrors. They were creatures born from a fusion of plants and serpents, once harvested from the forbidden forest. Arlen's mind darted toward darkness as his brother's chances remained bleak. Rufus could not risk using his core energy, and his sword was barely allowed to serve its purpose. Rufus was wearing himself out; Arlen could feel it.

Let me tell you it never felt more true then at this very moment. Forcing my eyes open with the bit of energy I have left, while the most awful pain I have ever felt rage through my being, feeling awfully similar to when a thousand horses tap dance on one's soul, my eyes adjust to the environment and I see a white BMW speeding away from the scene. After that my eyes began to droop shut. The fear of being left out to die slowly crept into my thoughts. The mixture of cold, excruciating pain and fear was finally enough for the darkness to swallow me like a midnight snack.

Moments later, Scar located Shane and his goons, creeping along on four legs downwind of the rebels, slowly advancing on to their direction , their tails twitching in impending attack. Damon and Scar came rushing out of the woods to intercept them. Shane spun and noticed the attack just as Damon came leaping at him with fangs bared. But he only had time to get Shane down on his back before she barreled headfirst into him, knocking him away before she whispered words to hold him down.

As soon as Astrid had reached the window to look at the two who jumped down the two story manor, they were gone. It turned out that there was a truck waiting below to catch them. Serena had turned one way to shoot Eden and Elijah had turned the other way to shoot the glass window. And Rhys turned to shoot Aiden from behind him as he was a threat.

Nature vs nurture and all that. So I broke the attic window, and climbed down the pipes. Then my brain yearned to be in water. Unfortunately, the only way to get to Flower Moon river was to cross the Unclaimed Forest. So I did what I had to do. Who would be in the forest at three in the morning?
