Black The Origin

Black The Origin

She cheerfully nodded. "Of course sir thank you for your service, that'll be 2 silver coins." Alkhun looks at the other books while waiting for the ebook to get signed. He noticed the book series and it added up to 5 books. Is it really fiction? He read the publication date of the latest book and it was a year ago. It is a myth after all. Sophia handed the book and Alkhun handed the payment and put it into his dimensional bag. "That's all you buy for today?" He nodded.

MY BULLY STEPBROTHER IS A HOCKEY ALPHA

MY BULLY STEPBROTHER IS A HOCKEY ALPHA

At the boy who walked through school like he owned it and sat in hockey practice like he was born for it and apparently spent his private hours in a library on the third floor teaching himself languages to read old books. "What are you reading right now," I said. "Medieval European political history," he said. "Specifically the period between 1300 and 1450." He paused. "It has nothing to do with anything current." "Does it need to?" "No," he said. "That's why I read it." I held this image. Jaxon Blackwood, alone in a third floor library, reading medieval history in a language he taught himself for the purpose. The private version of him that the school never saw and probably wouldn't have be

The Clandestine Saga

The Clandestine Saga

Cadence asked. “This book is very old,” he began, his hand hovering over the cover of the leather bound book but not touching it, though he was wearing a pair of the white gloves Cadence had seen historians wear on television shows. “I believe it was likely written in the mid- to late-sixteenth century, possibly earlier. At that time, Vampires controlled much of Scotland and Ireland, as you know, and they would continue to dominate that area of the world for the next several centuries. It’s basically a manual for all sorts of information to be left for successors, should anything become of the kings and queens of the time, though they obviously expected to live forever.”

Mated To The King Of Darkness

Mated To The King Of Darkness

Zezi looked at the cover, it was just a black hardcover with 'Time of Darkness' written in a large zig-zag red font. "What is the book about?" "History." Delice shrugged while she picked a book off the shelves, putting another in its place. Wasn't that like, going to mess up the order of the books? She had bigger things to worry about right now though. "How long ago? A hundred years? Two years? A thousand?" "10 years ago was the end of the datk times. It lasted more than that though." With a book in her hand, she started swaying to an empty seat by the window side.

For bitter or worse

For bitter or worse

Ximena places her stuff quickly in a neat pile and I place the box on the ground before unpacking it. The thick books are all looking really old, with leather bindings, golden lettering, and thick yellow paper. I read the covers; Magia elemental, La historia de la magia, Un testimonio de la cacería de la brujas en la Espana, Guía de brujas, Libro de encantamientos, Libro de los muertos, Leyedas mágicas and book with no letters on its covers, just an upside down tree. I wonder what that one is about. For everyone wondering, here are the translations:

ALPHA'S RUNAWAY PREGNANT MATE

ALPHA'S RUNAWAY PREGNANT MATE

Ancient European architecture, philosophy, anthropology, medicine, alchemy, and a whole section on esoteric and occult knowledge. I pulled out several and looked inside them. The pages of the books were all yellow with age, and the language used was archaic and difficult to understand. It was a strange thing, but I liked being in that library. It was like I had gone back in time. Any moment the door would open and a man or a woman wearing clothes from times gone by would walk in. To my surprise I actually found an old book with a lot of illustrations about growing exotic plants in cold climates. I would have loved to have stayed innthe library and read the book there, but the fireplace was n

This storyline has great potential but lacks consistency. The author is all over the place with chapters and is often hard to follow. There are many chapters that seem to be repeats of previous chapters with a few changes. Some character names are not consistent either. Overall I was disappointed.

I’m only into chapter 12 but from what I can tell the first few chapters are a rip off from a 2017 book by Celia Kyle who wrote The Werewolf Tycoon’s Baby from the series A Howls Romance it feels a rip-off other books that is forced together to make a bad story.

Parshawna Macduff- The greatest Witch of the decade

Parshawna Macduff- The greatest Witch of the decade

{Flashback to the past} [Year-1750] This is the story of two sisters. Long ago when there was the time, when God created the world, he created water, air, land, fire. To add amazing to his creation, he created living creatures, and the most wonderful of his creation is the human race. Humans started living up in nature very happily, and then when one day, a little girl was born in a small village of Europe named Tyyn, it was the time of the medieval period. It was the age of discovery. She was as beautiful as a flower blooms from a tree. She was different from the rest of the humans. She found trees and animals more friendly to stay than humans. That was the time when wars were going on all

The Alpha King's Human Queen

The Alpha King's Human Queen

There were piles of books on her table, and there was a request for more books that she had drafted out. “My lady, let us leave.” Liora begged, following behind me impatiently. I checked through some of her books, and they were mostly fiction. My eyes caught a particular book under a pile of books, and I reached for it instantly. “My lady, you're going to get me killed.” Liora groaned as I picked up the book. “THE ADVENTURES OF LADY KILMARTIN.” I read out loud. “Huh?” Liora mumbled.

The golden compromise

The golden compromise

Some of them read multiple times judging by the cracking of the binding. History. Military strategy. Economics. Law. Psychology. Philosophy. One entire shelf of biographies of powerful men across different centuries and continents. And then something that surprised me. Fiction. A whole section of it tucked into the far corner like something private. Novels. Some of them old enough that the titles had faded. I pulled one out carefully. A Russian novel. Thick. Dense. The kind of book that required patience and silence and the willingness to sit inside discomfort for extended periods.
