I paused and then darted inside. I went straight to the history section, and found myself facing two full aisles of books. I went down the first one and walked until I saw ‘Hollow Brook’. I grabbed the first book I saw and then a couple others as I thumbed over them. If I Was going to start learning the history of the packs, I may as well start with this one.

I must do my objective here first. at last, now here in the History section. unlike the books from other shelves who has the same way of oldness in them, the books in the History section has different stages of being old. some are really worn out and some where just fairly new. grabbing a random book, I skimmed through the pages, wanting to know what era or year this was written, or what year did the content of the book happened. but the book only talked about the happenings of the coronation of the King Youseff Troy Von Travensky and Queen Violetta Suzette Perues. grabbing another book, i skimmed again but it was not the one i was looking for, ‘Maybe i should go for the newer ones.’

There is also a gossip column in their world, the writer is called Lady Whistledown and in the books I have read so far, her identity has not been revealed yet,” I finish explaining the book. Then I moved away from the window, and turned to look at the books which all looked amusing. I reached out to the bottom of the shelf and removed a book from it. Then I dusted it off, and sneezed as the dust got into my nostrils. These books must have been here for a long time, and that means it’s all about history. Hmm! Things are about to get interesting. “Story of the Rainbow?” I scoffed and bit my lips, then opened the book. I flipped through the pages, awed by the writings and the pictures which were inside.

Where in other history books there was missing information that seemed removed this book had it all and she got more and curious. In one part where in other books it was missing the time of multiple years this book recorded that time and made her pin her ears. It had recorded the time as a time of great evil when a king had enforced slavery and experimentation to the point of causing a mass revolt led by his own son. In some of the parts that recorded some of the experiments it made her queasy. She was both shocked and angry.

I say. I hope so. I really hope he’s right. I look at the clock on the wall and it says 1:48PM. I open my laptop and I start to read. The book I have to read is actually a historical book based on arts and crafts in the 18th century. It’s not a romance novel, so forgive me if I’m not very excited to read it. I could read 600 pages of a romance or horror novel, but my reading assignments are just not inviting enough.

When Clara pried it open, the book issued a hissing sound and she noticed it suddenly felt lighter in her hands. Cracking open the dusty tome, Clara noticed pictures that were moving as if the history was playing out once again inside these pages. Below the pictures were written texts of the events.
