he says. His voice, quiet, but it cuts through the silence like lightning. I pause. Still not looking at him. If I look, I’ll crumble. But I speak. “I’m free tomorrow. After school.” A beat. “I’ll meet you at Roses and Blooms. Seven p.m.” Then, finally, I turn. Just for a second. Just long enough to see if this is real. If he’s real. If he looks the way I feel inside, wrecked, breathless, eager.

I spoke again then the whole room went quiet. I looked into the window to see a reflection of a girl behind Mike and I. I turned around to see the girl staring at me making me furrow my eyebrows then looked at Harvey. "Scottie this is Blossom, the seventeen year old who disappeared a couple years ago after coming and then she showed up recently again." Harvey said making Scottie nod her head. "Nice to meet you." She said making me nod my head at her then I turned back around and laid my head on Mike's shoulder.

I'd decided against asking her about friends at school because I was pretty sure she had none but…"Does anyone here bother you Blossom?" "No I pretty much always just kept to myself. I think some of them thinks I'm weird but no one has ever been mean or anything. And no I'm not getting out early. Will you still be able to come get me? I can find my way back I think, it doesn't seem that far." "Don't be silly of course I'll cone get you." I kissed her cute little nose as the driver came around to let her out. "I don't want to take you away from anything if you're busy…"

“I didn’t fall.” “You did,” she says gently. “Into yourself. Into the place where your power lives.” I swallow hard. “Clara triggered me too fast.” “Yes,” she agrees. “And no.” I frown. “What does that mean?” She stops in front of me, reaching out a hand that glows brighter than anything I’ve ever touched. “You were always going to meet me. Just not yet.” Her head dips slightly. “And not like this.” The symbols on the ground flare.

He decided that he would take the time to fly abroad each month to visit Freya and Liam. With this thought in mind, he fell silent for a moment. Then, he answered in a roundabout way, "It’s fine. You won’t have to worry about meeting Cassie anymore when you’re abroad with Liam." With that, he swiped a look at his phone and realized that the event was about to begin. "I’ll head down to the hall first. Bring Liam with you after you help him get changed." After making sure that Lucas was gone, Freya shed her mask in an instant. She squatted and grabbed Liam so tightly by his shoulders that her nails dug into his flesh.

Another face bored into my eyes, and my lips parted, refusing to release another breath. It was Blossom, standing beside him, silver hair gleaming. Her innocent smile beamed. Blossom? What was she doing here? At a time like this? “Sovia?” Janova called out again, but his voice seemed to fade inside my head. “Hi, you must be Lady Sovia of the Moonshade Pack. I’m Blossom.” Indeed, it was her. How could I possibly miss that innocent smile? The same smile that had towered over my lifeless body as I drew my last breath after Janova ripped out my heart.

The raindrops mixed with my tears, drenching me from head to toe. As I walked slowly in the rain, feeling the weight of my emotions, Suddenly, I couldn't feel the rain anymore. I turned around, and there he was - a very handsome man, holding an umbrella over my head. In that moment, fear gripped me. I wasn't expecting someone to be follow me out, and I didn't know this person. My heart raced as I tried to make sense of the situation. DAMIEN'S POV I was just walking into the house when I saw my older sister Lucy and my niece Clara being unnecessarily mean to a very beautiful young girl. I stood aside and watched the drama unfold. Turns out this girl was none other than Mia Silverstein, Matt's

and she shut her eyes while her mind raced with crazy thoughts on where he might be taking her. When the bike came to a halt he hopped off “keep them closed” he said and next thing she was being scooped up off the bike bridal style. She felt him moving and when he had stopped he gently put her on her feet. “Open your eyes” he encouraged her. She slowly opened her eyes, they were atop a hill overlooking the city. The dun was just now setting and the city lights glowed. It was truly a beautiful sight. “Do you have any idea where we are?” He asked her. She shook her head no, still too mesmerized by the beauty of the view to make a sound. “Look behind you” he turned around and was now looking i

I introduce them. “Oh, hello Lady Meadow.” “Hello, Sir Tate.” “He’s a handsome fellow.” “And young.” “Ladies, you should introduce yourselves,” Xander says, cutting off their discussion of my brother before it goes downhill. “I’m Blossom.” “And I’m Poppy.” “And this is Daphne, she’s shy.” “I love your lights, did my sister make them for you?” Meadow asks, feeling the magic in them. “She did!” “Don’t you love them?”

His smile faded slowly. "I came looking for someone, but their not around today, so I had to leave, but as I was leaving, I saw you in the masses and just came to say hello." "Oh okay, hello." I said. Now that made him laugh. "Hello Rose." He smiled. "Tell you what, I have to leave, I've got a meeting in the morning, so let's do this again later, is that possible, would you like that?" I didn't even hesitate. "Yes please."
