she said and ended the call. O frowned. She didn't even let me know her name or what she looked like. How was I supposed to meet with her and work with her? Almost immediately, a text message appeared on my phone. It was tre address of where she wanted to meet with me. I got dressed and left my house. I just upped she knew what I looked like since I did not know what she looked like.

she offered with her exciting smile. "I'm not in a good shape," she said worriedly. "Don't worry about it. My friend can teach as well!" She exclaimed with assurance. "Okay, fine. When can I meet him?" she asked immediately. "Well, you can meet him tonight. Do you want to come with me later? There are bands here who always sing at night. You should join us and meet new people," Eliza offered again. She's not a people person. But then, it excites her. Maybe it's time to meet new people after all the betrayal she had been through.

"I'm Dawn." Uh- is there something I should say after this? The sound of silence lingered around us filling the atmosphere with an unusually tense ambience. Its potency was sliced through by her gentle voice. "Okay," she said finally. "can I stop by the convenience store on our way?" She actually agreed, to go with me, a stranger that she's been in unfortunate events with. What was this stupid bravery? My thoughts must have been visible on my face when I heard her next response.

I had completely forgotten about the meeting until a few days later when Quinn came to me to tell me that the meeting had been arranged that I remembered. I'd heard about this company before and I knew they were really good but as I said, I didn't go looking for business. It came to me. So that was why I came here, walked through the front door and saw her. Eden. Just our eyes met and in that moment, without seeing the rest of her, I knew that it was her. After all these years of looking for her…she stood in front of me. I was about to run for her but Quinn called my name and I turned around for a second and she was gone.

"I didn't know you were coming in today." She recovers quickly — I will give her that. The thing that crossed her face when I started walking toward her disappears and the composure snaps back into place like a shutter closing. "I had a meeting," she says. "With the events team." "Of course," I say, as though this is entirely plausible and I believe it completely. I stop a comfortable distance from her — not close enough to be confrontational, not far enough to suggest I need the space. "How are you?"

- KILLIAN - I got in my car and groaned. Gasping for air while laying my back on the seat. I'm in pain. My body is suffering from everything I did today and I can't begin to talk about the heart ache. I met her today and at least that calmed me down a bit. I ran all the way to Susan's coffee shop to meet Lily already waiting there. I pulled a surprise look to my face. "Lily?" I called, my mouth slightly patted. "Here, come over here," she waved at me.
