Megan only stuck her neck out long enough to let the guards know to not alert anyone of our arrival and they nodded because she used her sigma tongue. As we pulled up to the house, a wave of familiarity and dread washed over me. I could feel Meg’s unease growing beside me, her silence speaking volumes.
