Send them my regard.” As we got in the elevator, I was baffled at how she was able to remember all these names. I could hardly remember a name after a couple of minutes but here she was remembering ‘Maurice’ and ‘Jess’. Would I also have to go through all this? Roxanne did not tarry when she received word from her nephew. Gathering a few men, she put things in place and left her homeland. It took days traveling by an airship, but she finally touched down in Kellet. “Axel, you said it was urgent.” Roxanne managed to stay composed despite her troubled mind. She was never one to show emotion, though she never imagined Axel would have company. “Queen Basma, Lady Maren…” She was surprised to see them.

A surge of power countered the power of the demon eye and brought back Roxanne's soul. "What the hell?" Egan stood dumbfounded and mumbled. Roxanne felt a surge of energy coming from her whole body, so she immediately stood up and kicked off Mrs. Dieter's headless body. Then, Roxanne limped over to where Egan was. The demon’s eye was irritated so it exited the picture. It roared causing everything in the room to fall apart. Roxanne trembled her legs and fell to the ground because of her fear and the tremors of the floor. However, Egan showed a wry smile.

"I don't know Margaret. But the most important thing right now is keeping my daughter safe. You know what Gerald did Damon. He killed his entire family. He murdered Damon's mother in front of her very eyes when he was a kid and now, all he wants is revenge. And that's why he grew up searching for Roxanne till date because she's Gerald's only child. Margaret,you won't blame me if I'm scared. Only God knows what Damon will do to Roxanne if he lays his hand on her. I don't know what to do". I sniffed and buried my face in my palm. The door cracks open and a girl peeks in, looking around like she was expecting a dinosaur to be here. “He is not in Janice.” Jessica says patiently. Janice visibly sags and walks in, she drops down next to me. “Hello Janice, I'm Roxanne.” She blinks from behind her huge glasses, the glasses looked like it was more than two frames. Too heavy for her tiny body. “Janice meet my friend Roxanne, she is also pinning for a guy. Although I will never understand what you see in Cam.” Janice blushes like the Cam in question was here. I would gag but best not do it in front of her.

Alpha Krishan tried to say, but he trailed off as the next minute Roxanne had jumped on him and began inflicting injuries on him. “Boys attack!!!!” Krishan screamed out in fear when he saw that she was winning, and just like that, the weird creatures unfreezed, distracting Roxanne, which in turn gave him time to run. I immediately ran towards her and held her hands once more, and a very bright light shone as I combined our powers and controlled it with my mind to cause an explosion. “Boom!!!” It sounded, and the cries of the weird creatures left could be heard from miles away.

One of them roared with gritted teeth before their guards gave a very hard punch to their faces. “Very well then, I’ll start cutting you by parts.” I sinisterly grinned, making their faces turn pale until they both fainted. I laughed. “Honey, they’re scared of me.” I cutely pouted and acted like a whiny kid toward her mother. Roxanne didn’t say anything, and without making noise, she approached the two unconscious rogues and started stitching them up. I just watched her do her wonders on healing them just to keep them alive—but that was not what she was doing. She was using her ability on them and read them like an open book. I technically can see them too, as she let me take a peek at them.

The doctor immediately rushed forward, asking the nurse to inject me with something. Once I was calm, he faced the couple. “Beta, I think we should go easy with the revelations.
