“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

The photograph rested in my lap. Orion smiling at something outside the frame. Probably one of his own terrible jokes. Definitely one of his own terrible jokes. The river shimmered softly beneath morning sunlight. People passed nearby laughing and talking. Nobody recognized the significance of this little bench. That felt right somehow. Not every sacred thing needs a monument. Some only need remembering. I traced Orion's photograph gently. Then laughed quietly to myself. Because I could finally do that now. Remember him without immediately breaking apart. Grief had changed shape.

Owned By The Don: Dark Mafia Romance

Owned By The Don: Dark Mafia Romance

It was the kind of sound that makes your body move before your brain catches up. He was on the ground by the dumpster. Black suit. White shirt. Both ruined. The shirt was open, soaked through. Too dark to be water. Too much to be anything but blood. He was still alive. His chest moved. Barely. Then I saw the tattoo. _Memento mori_ across his ribs in black script. Remember you die. Under it, fresh blood. The wound was right under the letters. Like someone had punctuation to make.

Her Four Possessive Wolves

Her Four Possessive Wolves

I smiled at Jean, pouring my adoration of the piece into every part of my body. Memento Mori which meant, in Latin, remember that you will die. That was the embodiment of Eiecrunt. Live fast and hard. Enjoy every waking moment you had because one day it could all cease to be. It showed me that I was lucky to get out of the hell I was in. Escape my fate time and time again. All because I wanted to live. Wanted to feel more. One day I would die and hopefully, my mates would be by my side. "I love it!" Adelia exclaimed beside me, her breath reeking of Alcohol. I giggled and Teagan leaned over to take hers.

Great story & characters, & absolutely loved the style of writing - broken/fragmented sentences that drive action & thoughts, so unique! Wish I wasn't left asking about some open-ended plotlines (Desert Sun, king's heirs, Felix, Albert & Mariposa, etc.), but assuming sequel books will address them?

Tease Out The Truth

Tease Out The Truth

Was this a threat to us? "The images on this certificate are symbols of mortality reflecting the Latin phrase 'Memento Mori' which means 'Remember you must die', '' Chris added. I was the one who interrupted the conversation. "The hour glass is a symbol of limited time on earth, grave-digging tools and dead bodies suggest fresh graves and angels are associated with heaven." "That means, we have very little time to save that someone who must die," Reign concluded for everyone with her eyes widening slightly. I looked at her again. Was it a threat for her? Then I must do anything to prevent that JDC plan from continuing.

The Sound Of Ruin

The Sound Of Ruin

“But do not mistake remembrance for shame. I am not softened, Morien. I am tempered. I still carry famine in my veins, still wear ruin on my tongue. The difference is that now, when I choose, I choose with eyes open. And the fire I guard is worth more than all the cities I ever burned.” Morien’s laugh was low and bitter, rattling like stones in a grave. “Fleeting, Theron. As fleeting as her breath. You dress mortality in finery and call it flame, but she will gutter as all the others did. You think yourself tempered, but you are only passing through a softer season. She toyed with the thought of eternity, did she not? I felt it—the tremor of want when she considered your bite. But I felt the

Falling for the CEO'S brother

"I got it after my mother died to remind myself that I could survive anything." My fingers traced the detailed feathers. "It's beautiful." "Keep going." His voice had gone rougher. "I like your hands on me." I moved to the Latin phrase on his ribs. "Memento mori. Remember you must die." "A reminder that life is finite. That revenge isn't worth wasting the time I have." He caught my hand. "I got that one after the warehouse fire. When I realized I'd almost died chasing ghosts." "But you're still chasing them."

Sold to the Devil

Sold to the Devil

Thalia muttered, her voice nearly lost in the dense air. "That's the point," Emilia replied, pushing a cluster of hanging moss out of her way. Her tone was calm, almost eerily so. She hadn’t said much since they left the clearing where Mochi was wounded. Now, the bloodied edges of her sleeves had dried to her skin, but she wore them like armor. Mochi walked beside her, every few steps casting small orbs of light that floated around them like fireflies. “The Mire feeds on memory,” she warned. “It pulls your regrets to the surface. Your guilt. That’s how it gets in.”

A DEAL WITH THE ALPHA DEVIL

A DEAL WITH THE ALPHA DEVIL

The stone walls were cracked, the stained glass broken, but the altar was whole. I unrolled the scroll slowly, my fingers trembling. Inside: six lines, written in ink so dark it looked like dried blood. 'One tether breaks, another wakes,' 'Where silence holds and memory aches.' 'The twin of time, beneath the stone' 'Sleeps in shadow, waits alone.' 'When blood and bloom meet fire’s edge' 'The heart shall bind the realm’s last pledge.' I stared at the words for a long time. Then read them again and again because it wasn’t a map of roads.

The supreme alpha's bane

In oblivion, your glory is. “Vox vana, verbum sine pondere, maledictio vestra est nihil. Corruptio in vento perit, vita in aeternum manet. Dii et mortales, omnes vident lumen. Peris in vanitate, et oblivio tua est silentium.” ( Empty voice, word without weight, your curse is nothing. Corruption perishes in the wind, life remains eternal. Gods and mortals, all see the light. You perish in futility, and your oblivion is silence.)

The Witch Keeps Time

The Witch Keeps Time

I look directly at the dying version of him. “I remember,” I say calmly. The air fractures. Time recoils. Memory without reenactment. Acknowledgment without participation. The battlefield trembles like glass under strain. The dying Thomas’s eyes lock onto mine. There is no accusation in them. Only awareness. I step forward again. Not kneeling. Standing over him. “You do not get this moment twice,” I say quietly. The ground splits. The smoke tears. Time convulses. The musket crack attempts to replay. It misfires.
