Just then, the front door swung open, and there stood Luigi, his infectious grin making me smile. He was dressed casually in jeans and a black hoodie. Moments later, a man, whom I presumed was his father, came up behind him. He gazed at me as if he already knew me. “Summer,” Luigi called, pulling my attention back to him. “What are you doing over there?” He jogged down the steps, high-fiving Tristan, who giggled in response. “What’s up, little man?” Luigi turned to face his dad. “Dad, this is Tashir and her boy Tristan. Guys, that’s my father, Dan.”

She didn’t want to look like a ripe tomato the same way Viola currently did. “And you who’s been looking at everyone like a leering old pervert?” Luigi coughed awkwardly and avoided everyone’s gaze. “I was only observing everyone, I wasn’t leering,” Romeo coughed out a word that sounded like ‘creep’ That made everyone laugh, including Enzo who was acting like he had deleted all of his emotions from his body. “I’m not a creep!” Luigi hissed and then downed his glass of orange juice and then hissed again.

Luigi's eyes darkened at my bold touch, and his Adam's apple bobbed. In response and as a form of teasing, Luigi squeezed some shower gel and meticulously rubbed rich lather onto my smooth back. Then, he mischievously scooped up a ball of white foam with his finger and gently dabbed it on my nose and cheeks, like frosting a cake, causing me to giggle.

Leo said, grin wide and careless. I felt my pulse hammer in my throat. Keep playing the role? I gripped the railing until my knuckles turned white. "This isn't a good thing. Aren't you afraid she'll suddenly regain her memory?" Luigi asked, voice sharp. "You think you can get away with this?" Leo laughed, actually laughed, tossing the comic aside. "Oh, she'll get her memory back—and if she gets angry, I'll just coax her back to me like always." Like always. Those two words hit like a gut punch.

Pushing those thoughts away from my mind, I pulled Cain's hand towards the little cart parked across the street. Luigi as usual mattered some spanish words as a sign of how happy he was to see me again. Then his face changed when he saw Cain, he was so shocked that he stopped fanning the little Gemini sausages on the grill. He wiped his hands with a rag before greeting Cain. "I'm such a huge fan, can I get your autograph?" He asked.

But then, the things they talked about before I left was catching my attention. Who the heck was Don Luigi? Never heard of that name before. If he was someone who worked inside the company, then maybe I would know about it. Or if he was a client that Ricky was approaching, then I would know too. But I never heard anything about this person. I tried to search for that name on the internet but only a cartoon character came up, Luigi the Super Mario's twin brother. Okay, that was a stupid move.

That's the first thing that crosses my mind. I still have work to do. And a second thing that crosses my mind. I wasn't expecting to see him after that night. It was too overwhelming for me. With him being here I couldn't focus on doing my work or else I will keep worrying that he will spot me. I lightly fist the sinks in frustration and a vibrate coming from my pouch caught my attention.
