His Forgotten Memories

His Forgotten Memories

Then he looked at his Dad “D-dad.” “Thank God you remember me.” “Kuya. What about me?” This time it was Gravity “Gravity.” He called “W-What happened to me? why is that, why do I remember so little. I can't remember everything?” I cried, he can’t remember. He can only remember little “Kuya do you remember her?” Gravity pointed me to his brother “Answer me!” “Don’t shout Grav..” I said “I-I don't I’m sorry... who are you?” He looked at me

Terms and Temptations: The CEO spoils me silly

Terms and Temptations: The CEO spoils me silly

Alive? As I sit up in bed, memories flood my mind like a tidal wave. I remembered the night I died, the feeling of the blade piercing my skin, the sound of Diane's voice whispering in my ear. I remembered the pain, the fear, the sense of betrayal. But I also remembered the moments leading up to that night, the laughter, the tears, the fights. I remembered the way Robert smiled at Diane, the way Diane looked at me with a mixture of envy and hatred. I remembered the way I felt, like I was walking on eggshells, never knowing when the other shoe would drop.

Billionaire Daddy for sale

Billionaire Daddy for sale

His fingers drummed on the edge of the table, his gaze hardening as he thought of Rebecca’s sudden appearance and the chaos that had followed. A few hours passed, and Micheal found himself revisiting memories that had been locked away. That night from years ago surfaced again in his mind, the same hazy images returning like ghosts — flashes of a woman's blurred face, her touch, the blur of his senses as he stumbled under the influence of whatever had been slipped into his drink. He shut his eyes, forcing himself to recall more, but the memory resisted, slipping away like sand through his fingers. The frustration gnawed at him, feeding his restlessness.

His Rejected Luna

His Rejected Luna

I said out loud. I checked my time, and found it was 4 o'clock in the morning. And I was unable to go back to sleep. Seeking to distract myself, I sought to block out the noise. I think this is a perfect day to hit the club, I really can't believe what is happening right now. I thought to myself, feeling very disturbed and unable to place it. What have I done? And then like in a trance, I was seeing memories of my conquest, not of the battles or the enemies I have faced but the many beautiful females I have ruthlessly devoured that stood no chance against me, who I chewed and spat out after I was done with them.

Violets and Ash

Violets and Ash

We sealed it with a firm handshake, then spent the rest of dinner sharing knowing grin’s and erupting in small spurts of laughter. Hours later, after Graham and I had snuck our late-night snack back to our rooms, I laid in bed and stared at the photograph of the family I couldn’t yet remember. The ice-blue eyes and silvery hair of Evelyn Langley chased me into oblivion, fading from my mind as same slew of nightmares began to take hold. Someday, Mom. Someday I’ll remember.

Maria Balanos
I had trouble putting this down. Probably my favourite so far. Love the way the characters evolve and the interchange between them. Definitely not lacking in lots of plot twists and turns. Just when you thought it was safe… well done, Jane. Can’t wait to read your next books!!
Author K.C Rae
Absolutely beautiful writing, it’s been about a year since I’ve read Jane Doe’s work and I simply cannot believe how much she’s improved (not that she was bad/mediocre before). The story itself kept you captivated with lots of twists and turns, the characters were likable and spice was 4/5 stars

The Memories I Erased

The Memories I Erased

I pursued my older sister’s best friend relentlessly for three whole years before she finally agreed to a secret relationship with me. However, after five hidden years together, right as I was preparing to propose, I overheard a conversation between her and her friends. "Your first love is about to return to the country. How do you plan to handle that substitute boyfriend of yours?" "Make sure you have a solid excuse when you break up with him. Don't make it too ugly, or Cora will never forgive you if she finds out her little brother got hurt." After a long silence, she made her decision. "Then I'll just fake amnesia. I'll pretend I forgot the past five years. Since it was a secret relat

The Late Heiress’ Memories

The Late Heiress’ Memories

My family had to put a stop to the broadcast of my memories. I huddled in a corner, feeling numb about the whole situation, but they struggled to accept reality. Sandra teared up shakily, mumbling in disbelief. Roger gasped heavily, his fists clenched, while Caleb, wearing his heart on his sleeve, punched the table. “I can’t believe Casey is evil! “Where is she? I must ask her if this is real.” The scientist wiped away a tear. “This is the donor’s deepest and most personal memory. There’s one more piece of memory. Do you want to watch it?”

I Faked My Death to Destroy My Husband

I Faked My Death to Destroy My Husband

My memory was a broken mess. I remembered the clinic. I remembered the photo on the floor. Then, I remembered the Nocturne. The bass. The tequila. And Irene. I remembered her dancing. I remembered the way the red light hit the curve of her neck as some nameless idiot put his hands on her. I remembered sitting in the booth. I remembered the tequila. I remembered laughing. But then, darkness. I rubbed my face with my hands. I couldn't remember anything else. But something felt so wrong.

One Night, No Names

One Night, No Names

I closed my eyes briefly, gripping the edge of the door. “Then why doesn’t she remember me?” I whispered. “We don’t know that it’s permanent,” Mike replied. “Shock can do strange things. Trauma can scramble memory temporarily. That’s why they’re running tests.” I stepped out into the night air, locking the door behind me. My movements were automatic now. “I’m still coming,” I said. “I figured.” “But slow down,” Mike urged. “You don’t need to tear down the highway. Getting there five minutes earlier won’t change what already happened.”
