Memory after memory of Claire, Lily, and me together.

“So… he’s still alive.” The man’s voice dropped lower. “They called it Project IVY. They experimented on children. Memory enhancements. Biological changes. Weaponization of the human mind.” “Why are you telling me this now?” she whispered. “Because I’m dying,” he said simply. And then, before Ariana could respond, A gunshot rang out. CRACK! The sound thundered through the chapel as the man’s shoulder jerked violently back. He stumbled. Ariana screamed. Another shot ripped through the air, this time hitting one of the pews just inches from her.

“Again and again. Her, screaming his name. Over and over. I tried not to break. Tears in his eyes. “But not all the way.” Outside the chamber, Sophie’s heart stuttered. Julian’s jaw clenched. Charlotte stared at the screen, pale. “He’s talking to a memory,” Sophie said. “A real one. A personality fragment. It… survived.” Julian stood. And whispered: “That man was a grave they forgot to bury.”
