THE EXTRAORDINARY BRIDE OF THE WYNDHAM FAMILY

THE EXTRAORDINARY BRIDE OF THE WYNDHAM FAMILY

Anger burned under the hurt—anger at Richard, at Lydia, but mostly at herself for being so blind. She pulled out her phone, and searched for a number. She dialed the number without hesitation. The call connected at the second ring. And a woman's voice answered. “Hello?” “Hi,” Mercy said. Her voice sounded stronger than she felt. “This is Mercy McKnight. I’ve thought about your offer. I’m ready to join your team.” There was a short pause from the other line, then a warm surprise. “That’s fantastic, Mercy. I’m happy you made the right choice. Can you come to our office on Monday? We’ll rush through the paperwork and get you started immediately.”

The Aurelian story has totally hooked me. I don’t know if anyone else has read this far (starting from Chapter 261), but I have to say, the second part of this book is just as fun as the first one... even more gripping, to be honest… Does anyone else feel the same way?

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

A strangled sob ripped from Sara’s chest as she wrapped her arms tightly around herself, as if trying to physically hold herself together before she fell apart completely. “I was… unwanted,” she whispered, her voice hollow, broken. “Left to die… then taken back like I was nothing more than… than something she could just pick up whenever she felt like it.” “No,” Mariah said firmly, stepping forward and grabbing Sara’s shoulders. “Don’t you ever think of yourself that way. You were never unwanted. You were a miracle. You are a miracle.” But Sara could barely hear her. The pain was too loud. The betrayal too deep.

I haven’t read this book yet. I liked the plot but skeptical to start as this book is not completed. I added this to my library and when it’s complete I will read as I am having a bad experience with a book where writer is just dragging the story with chapters which are just few pages in length

I’ve added to my library but refuse to read any book that is not completed. Very frustrated with updated chapters and unfortunately a few books over 600 chapters still not ending and updated chapters were just fluff. Once this is completed, will gladly read.

Under Her Mercy

Under Her Mercy

she said and without waiting for a permit she walked out of the room with her trolley. She rubbed her eyes on her way out, "What a way to start my day" she said, shaking her head. Thank God the maid from earlier hasn't recognised her as Avyanna the Goddess or else she would've been the first one to taint her out there, she told herself. In a short while everything made sense to her, John Lewis, that man was the one who did this to her. She desperately inspected herself and she was relieved to see that she wasn't raped.

Mercy Mercy was glad to see Isabella. She was so kind and refreshing. She’d brought Mercy some clean clothes and made sure she was able to take a shower without any help. She’d also brought her a snack, which was great, even though Cleo had brought her a full breakfast. Mercy felt like her stomach was turning inside out, she was so hungry. Now, she was sitting on the bed, feeling comfy in a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt. They smelled like flowers and fresh cotton and made her skin feel all soft and snuggly. There was something going on with her hair, though, and it was bothering her almost as much as the fact that she couldn’t remember anything. The urge to flip her hair back over her sho

Relief. “Jer. Did .. did you hear that he whispered my name. I sniff, He did.” Jerry gives a slow nod, and a smile that said ‘I don’t believe you, but of course.’ I look back at him. “You don’t deserve him!!” Cassidy’s voice echoes in my head, alongside flashes of her fury. Again. She’s right. He does deserve better than me. I need a minute, I whisper to Jerry, rushing out of his room, my fist clutching to my purse.

The Princess And The Demon

The Princess And The Demon

Stepping back inside the cell, Sara stared at the darkness with an expressionless face, but it wasn’t as cold and confused as before, she was feeling nothing, but it was not like that numbness that consumed her in the shack or the cave, it didn't feel like drowning, Instead, she felt at peace, and her mind, for the very first time since a long time, was peaceful and quiet, not bitter, not hateful, not vengeful, not guilty, she was just, at peace.

Mercy for Everyone but Me

Mercy for Everyone but Me

"I know you must both be so angry with me. Adrian is as well. I'm selfish and stupid. I deserve everything that's ever happened to me. But I'm so tired. I can't outplay Sean. I can't even drag him down with me when I die." I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. The rain seemed to be pouring harder now. At that moment, I felt like a wandering ghost with no home to return to. "When I join you in the afterlife, don't shy away from me, okay? Please don't reject me. I know… I was wrong." After walking in a daze for what felt like forever, I finally got home. Before I could open the front door, I saw the warm yellow light spilling through the gap under the door.

HELION MARY.

HELION MARY.

"Okay, at this point I am keeping an open mind ready to not be surprised at any other stuff I see or hear in this goddamn place. It's the only way to remain sane." Mercury said expressing her self by raising her hands up. " I don't know its, it's just like we're in some kind of contemporary paranormal movie scene." "Yeah, like Casper and Stir of echoes?" Mercury added as she gave a big sigh and chuckled. "On the day of the Escort Mission. I will be your partner Mercury, that way I can find a chance and go up to the President's office with nobody looking for me. I will find the book and then we move."

Mercer said, his voice steady. He moved toward the window and stared outside for a moment, his expression thoughtful. “But I need to understand something about what happened out there. Your gift. Has this ever happened before? Have you ever been unable to read someone?” “Never,” I said quietly. “Scars is the first.” Mercer released a heavy breath and shook his head. “He’s full of surprises.” “Yeah, he is.” [That is the understatement of the century. This man has spent years making federal agencies look incompetent. Surprise is basically his personality.]

A Lifesaving Mess

A Lifesaving Mess

Before I could even finish my sentence, Cassie pointed at me and burst into tears, launching into a tearful accusation against me. “Sadie, you stole my credit. I was the one who saved Miss Foster’s life. You took advantage of the moment when I fainted after the blood transfusion to run to Mr. Foster and twist the truth, stealing credit for saving his sister’s life! I never wanted to argue with you or fight for the title of her savior because I help others without wanting credit.
