Sara’s smile widened, a little of the nervousness easing from her chest. “She’s been so kind to me. I was scared she would see me as… damaged goods after everything with Tom.”
Kingsley turned to face her more fully, his expression serious but full of warmth. “She doesn’t see damage. She sees resilience. And so do I. You’ve turned pain into power, Sara. That’s what makes you extraordinary.”
