Silas asks. I look at him for asking such a stupid question. "They took her, you idiot!" I SCREAM AT HIM! I run out of the room, with Ando on my heels. "We will get her back," Ando says as he follows me out of the house. The fairies are outside, mourning the loss of the council members. Those lying pieces of shit probably got what they deserved in reality. The fairies run up to me as I come out. "We need to see our Queen," the fairies start demanding. I look over at Silas.

"Sei please talk to me . I can't see you crying like that . I will kill that bastard tomorrow so don't worry ." "No! Don't do anything to him . You will be taken to the court ." "Then tell me about it . I will listen as long as you tell me ." "You won't believe me ." "I will believe everything you say , you just say it . "We need them gone." She nods in understanding. "Gails and Devon are coming with Travis and this," She pauses and flashes me a devilish smile, "is Radiance." Damn, she noticed the way I looked at her. Radiance is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Her hair is long and flowing; a fierce color of orange/red. Her tail matches her hair perfectly. A bright orange tail with the tips of her fins are a beautiful ruby red. She has big, round, emerald green eyes surrounded by thick eye lashes. She shyly smiles a small smile to me and then darts her eyes down. Clearly humbled to be in my presence. "Thank you for assisting us today Radiance. I apologize for it being so early in the morning." “All of you, be quiet!” the murmuring of several fairies stopped at the commanding words of the fairy who was seated higher than all of them. The meeting room was as bright as the place Mane was stuck in, but it was filled with fairies. All the fairies floated above ground and faced twelves ‘thrones’. The thrones were suspended in the air and were occupied by twelve different fairies. Eleven of these thrones were at the same level, with one of the elevated higher than the rest. The fairy that occupied the highest throne was the one who commanded that the others be quiet.

“Not your storybook princesses. Not fish-tailed angels. But creatures of tide and hunger. Their songs aren’t lullabies, they are traps. They drag ships under, for fun. For vengeance. For a different kind of delicacy.” I saw black eyes in green water, mouths filled with rows of sharp teeth. I was gripping the stool so hard my knuckles ached. “Fair folk,” she said, her voice turning sharp. “Don’t ever call them fairies. That word is a lie. They are not cute. They are not kind. They are old as time, twisted by beauty and cruelty. They trade in riddles and pain. Step into their realm, and time will forget you. You will come back hollow, if you come back at all.”

One must know that the other three fairies were from prominent forces and had very powerful backgrounds. In particular, Astrid Barlowe, the head of the four fairies, was the princess of the Milky Way Empire. Countless people from great forces had to address her as Her Royal Highness. She had a high status, and people looked up to her. Although the status of the other two was not comparable to Astrid, they definitely had a status than much higher Mia’s. At the very least, they would never take a commercial spaceship when traveling. They were even less likely to be stopped by space pirates.
