I then resolved to shoot for the sky even when I have no competition to motivate me. "What are you writing?", I asked, trying to feel less awkward. "I'm writing a story on Wattpad, "The Battle of Wits: War Against Bullies". Would you like to read it and tell me what you think?, It isn't much. Just an author note and the prologue, which I'm writing that I want to publish tonight". "The title sounds cool. I would have asked for the synopsis if not that I don't like spoilers or anything that looks like it. I'm on Wattpad, so I'll read it and drop my review for you in your DM"

Hahahaha! "Nagbabasa ka ng wattpad?" Tanong niya. Tapos na pala siya. Obviously?!

I just finished five chapters in one sitting. I grabbed my phone, opened Telegram, and went to my chat group, Lovely Buricats 💦. It's a lively space filled with writers, and as usual, I was late to the conversation. I started back-reading their earlier messages, trying to catch up on the chatter I had missed. Born to Be Wild: Uggghh. Guys! Let's hit a bar tonight. I'm feeling down. How about the new Paradox Club? It just opened let's check it out.

Max replied. Caspian scrolled up through that thread. More messages. Older ones. The same tone. Measured. Deliberate. “They don’t rush,” he said. “They don’t need to,” Oliver replied. Another message came in. Same number. Check the board. Caspian’s eyes moved across the screen. “Board?” Max repeated. Oliver’s stomach tightened slightly. “Campus forum.” Max straightened. “They posted there?” Caspian didn’t wait. He switched apps, navigating quickly.

Maybe this was how moving forward started, one genuine conversation, one hopeful yes at a time. ... Please check out my W*****d and A****n for more amazing works. W*****d @creesey1234 and A****n @author Cree Say. I'm note active there and the stories are more wonderful in each book
