Ryker chuckles, turning to leave. "Ryker," I growl, my golden eyes flashing. "Okay, well, before my paws exit this hall..." he says, pulling a heavy object from his pocket and tossing the metal straight toward my chest. When my palm catches the weight, I glance down at the keys, noticing the engraved serpent insignia marking the steel. "Thought your alpha beast might require this machine on the trail." The heavy timber door shuts with a loud click. Luka looks straight down at my palm. "What is that token?"

But hunger is not the same as capacity. The fight behind us ends badly. Blake staggers back, blood on his lip. Sebastian rises, wild-eyed, half-smiling despite it. “You’re not the only one who can use it,” he says, panting. “If she won’t, I will.” Leila’s voice snaps like a whip. “No!” Too late. He dives for the key. My boot shifts. The silver slides across the floor—straight into my hand. The room stops. Leila’s face blanches. Sebastian stiffens. Blake breathes like he’s waiting for the ceiling to collapse.

He didn’t think this was something he should be holding; but somehow, he knew that this was the key to defeating Alaric. He unwrapped the object to uncover a dagger. It was an interesting dagger made entirely of silver. The handle was maroon with golden swirls, just like everything else in this room. Caleb was sensing a theme. This was what was going to kill Alaric once and for all. “You thought you were clever, breaking into my chambers?” He heard a cruel and dark voice from the doorway.

The corridor is empty apart from those two. Kaiser stopped abruptly when he found something lying on the ground. It is a small key used for safe lockers. But only a wolf who is the level of an Alpha has the capacity to buy this kind of an expensive safe. Because the key is a golden key with an emrald sitting on the head. In this palace, only Kaiser, Kyra and Sharon has the ability to buy something like this. Enzo is rich too, but he is not the flashy type. "Is this yours?" Kaiser inquired nodding at the key lying on the floor.

I reached down into the hidden seam of my boot and pulled out the heavy object that had been digging into my skin. Moonlight glinted off a brass key shaped like a dragon’s tooth. It was old, heavy, and solid. “That’s a very interesting key,” said a cold, smooth voice from above. I froze. Kaka Obsidian stood at the top of the stone stairs, blending perfectly with the shadows like he had been part of the building the whole time. His sharp gaze locked on the brass key in my hand with that steady, thinking stare.

She has to witness violence. "Speak you damm it."I grab his jaw in my hand and jerk him closer to me.His nose and lips are bleeding. I gave out a loud sigh and then lay back on the bed to catch my breath and relax my mind which was going crazy with panic of not finding the necklace and eventually losing Blade. Then my eyes caught something on the fancy toy duck lights above and it drew my attention. Was there a red zipper on the yellow duck lights? I stood up on the bed and stretched my hands to reach the lights and then I undid the zipper. A coiled brown rope with a grainy blue amulet was in one of the duck lights and I quickly took it and did the zipper back. My eyes were fixed on the dusty old necklace and I couldn’t help but wonder how that necklace could save Blade’s life or why it was so important that Dexter had to

He took out something, but his hand was fisted, and I couldn’t see what he was holding. “Take out your hand.” He whispered and when I didn’t comply, he took my hand and opened my palm. I stared in equal confusion and awe as he placed a key in my palm. But not an ordinary one. It was made of silver, with intricate patterns and symbols engraved on its surface. It looked ancient and mysterious as if it belonged to another time and place. I felt a strange sensation in my hand. The key was warm, and it felt as if it had a pulse with a faint light. “What is this key for?” I asked glancing at him.

“Not like this.” Kaelor’s voice softened. “There’s no gentle version of it.” That landed heavier than it should’ve. I swallowed, forcing my voice steady. “Then start.” Silence followed. Not hesitation. Preparation. Draven moved first. He reached into the inside pocket of his coat and pulled out something small—dark metal, old-looking, marked with thin etched lines I didn’t recognize. I frowned. “What is that?” “A key,” he said simply. My stomach tightened. “To what?”

But as the peace settled over the family, a sudden, sharp vibration shook the ground. Not from the mountain. Not from the boy. From the "Key of Absolute Existence" that Kaelen was still holding. The Key wasn't violet anymore. It was turning a solid, glowing "Genesis Gold." Kaelen looked at the horizon of the North and saw a massive, iridescent "Portal" opening in the air.
