"Wait, where are JumpStart's stun batons?" Looking around, scanning the surrounding area, I see JumpStart's stun batons on the ground, far from where JumpStart is. "JumpStart must have dropped his batons," I say, turning back to see Metal-Man walking with JumpStart in his hand. "Hold on!" I run and pick up the stun batons before running to where JumpStart is. It's too late though. While I was running to get the stun batons, Metal-Man made his way to some wooden supports. He pulls back his hand and punches JumpStart right through the wooden supports. As JumpStart flies through and breaks the wooden supports, the roof they're holding collapses and falls right into JumpStart.

Oblivious to my protests, the creature continued to pull while snarling, its long claw-like fingers digging deeper and deeper into my calf. When I began to think that all was hopeless, a sword slashed down, cutting the creature's head clean off its neck. Jerking, the creature's body fell too. Scrambling into a sitting position, I looked up to meet the ice-blue eyes of a man dressed in a suit of armor with a red cape. His long blond hair was pulled into a ponytail at the nape of his neck, and his tan skin seemed to have scratches across it where something had managed to mar him.

As the shirtless man grew closer, Amy could see how the man’s skin shimmered like the metallic paint on her BMW. She noticed the shirtless man’s ripped blue jeans, which sagged around his waistline. The black bandana tied around his bald head gave him the only human element. Amy’s throat went dry when she got a better look at the mechanized man holding her son. She could clearly see how the robotic man’s design shared 2Pac’s likeness, and it creeped her out. To Amy, the metal man looked like a bronze statue of 2Pac if it came to life.

I did, slowly opening my eyes to see what was of me. Trailing down the flawless white cape that flowed down my body and formed a tail behind me, it glistened with fine stones of charming colors: pink, blue, and ash.

I knew it was his doing. "You've got great legs, sweetheart. Did anyone ever say that to you?" He asked me, then his eyes strayed down and I followed the gaze. If you were to see him on a typical day, you'd consider him decent. He still wore the baseball cap, but I could see his face clearly. He was lean and muscular, a thin scar ran along his left cheekbone. I guessed it was why he had the cap on to cover it up and make him look less intimidating.

I averted my eyes from Slade, but I sensed he was still staring at me. It was unnerving. Seeing him again after two fucking long years! He didn't look as if he had aged one bit. I guess two years was too short for him to have aged. Slade was still hot and broody, but he seemed mysterious. He seemed cold and barely receptive. It was as if he'd do anything other than to be here. Was he forced to come? Was he an Alpha? He should be. He wore the Alpha's apparel- a hooded cape with intricate designs over their outfit, but Slade's cape, the hoodie was gold, and the cape itself was a royal blue. A different colour from the red everyone was on.

He brought out a dagger from inside his cape and handed it to the guy in the red cape. They all stared at Scarlet, the dagger didn't look like an ordinary dagger. They wanted to kill Scarlet. The middle guy in the red cape brought the dagger up and was about to throw it at Scarlet, and I screamed her name, hoping she would hear me, but instead, the three cape guys turned to me.

Yet, here she was, pressed flush against his body in what could only be described as a compromising position. A dozen masked mercenaries in full combat gear moved cautiously through the mansion. At the center of the mercenary formation stood a man built like a grizzly bear. His attire was starkly different from that of his fully-kitted comrades. He wore only camouflage pants, combat boots, and a sleeveless vest that stretched taut over obscenely swollen arm muscles.
