Mikayla said softly, stroking my back slowly. I turned to her, wondering why she was speaking to me like she would a child that was crying. Why the hell are my eyes cloudy anyways? “Yes, she’s right. Don’t cry, cause you’ll make me cry too.” Sasha says, her voice breaking. I don’t know what the hell they are going on about. It isn’t until I touch my face and I feel wetness there that I realize I’m crying. Well, shit. What the hell is going on? I never cry!

Natasha smiled, getting ready to climb on top of Colton. Mia ended the facetime, switched off her phone, and burst into tears. Words couldn't describe how much she cried. She cried and cried until her eyes started aching, She cried until she had no more tears to shed. Mia Edwards literally wept!

That must’ve been a dream. How could both of them leave the world behind? They wouldn’t have the heart to do so. Her eyes turned red. The moment tears streamed down her pale face, she felt a pang of intense pain pounding at her chest. “What’s the matter, Maia? Why are you crying?” Amanda wiped tears away from Maia’s cheeks with her sleeves. “You have to stop crying. Think about your baby. It’s not going to be good for him if you cry too much!” Blinking, Maia looked at Amanda. She wiped her tears and flashed her the same pale, miserable smile.

I just cried and cried until Maia pulled me into a hug. I buried my face in her shoulder and cried even more. She kept on asking me what was wrong while she was caressing my back, but I wasn’t able to give her anything because I was so busy crying my heart out. In the end, she just let me cry on her shoulder until I was finally able to calm myself. I pulled away from the hug when I stopped crying. Maia’s anxious look greeted me. My tears continued to flow on my cheeks as she was waiting for me to speak. I took a deep breath.

"Oh, no she must have heard us talking about her," one of the nurses said in panic. Moriah didn't look back as tears already pooled in her eyes, making her vision blurry. She tried to blink back the tears, but failed miserably. Waterworks had already begun. She nodded her head down so no one could see her crying. She didn't even spare a glance at her secretary who greeted her. She closed the door behind her and locked it so no one would see her crying.

F-ck! “S-Scarlett…” I came to a halt and looked at Lux, but my eyes widened when I saw her crying. “Lux.” She shook her head and wiped her tears away. “The chairman has gone missing…” My eyes widen… F-ck.

Everything around her just screamed negativity and she couldn't understand what was happening. She blinked her eyes for a long time and an awful image of how her father died flashed in front of her. A tear escaped from her eye and landed on her palm. Mia held her tear as if it was a diamond jewel or something. She let out a sigh and took a deep breath as she tried to hold back her tears but why was she crying? What was this feeling? And why did her necklace keep on pointing outside the window? At Mara's house Mara's POV I felt very restless…I kept on turning on my bed. I couldn't get myself to sleep. A huge lump had formed in my throat as if I was holding back my tears but why?

Immediately, the tears that I had held in for so long started falling one after the other (***) I had never cried so much in my entire life! This certainty made me think that perhaps there was no way out of this crossroads I was at. I put my hands in my hair and tried to pull them out to relieve the tension, it was hopeless, I couldn't think of anything I could do, no solution to the problem came to mind, no matter how much I tried to think about it and find ways out.
