Mia's Blessing Pet Shop Novels & Stories

Melody says confidently. Melody approaches the dark blue cement shop, detached from other buildings. The door chimes as she pushes it open. Mia grips Melody’s leg as if afraid to go in, while Leo carries Pearl in his arms. Melody wraps her arm around Mia, “It’s ok, darling. It’s just a surf shop.”

I can imagine she will look positively breathtaking in it. Anita and Letty will help her get changed once she arrives back to the territory, and have gotten Mia a delicate phoenix pendant from just the two of them. I am so happy that three of them have taken to each other so well. I know that she was initially concerned that she would be leaving her closest friends behind, but I know having Nikki and Maisey close helped until she got to know Anita and Letty.

"There's a game, Mia" Lola cooed. She pulled Mia by her wrist to a rectangular glass box. Oh! such games where you have to play and win a toy or something. "I want a pony" Mia said. "Why's this in a sweets store?" Mia was puzzled. "Because it's also the reason why kids would bring their momma to patronize them" She said "So, now would you win me a pony?" "Haven't your brother won any for you?" Mia asked

It was never there when I needed it, only surfacing during moments of danger before receding again, leaving me more broken than before. I couldn’t even talk to it like other werewolves. I was defective. Wolfless. I was nothing but a pathetic Omega’s daughter. The daughter of a murderer. “Martha!” The sharp voice jolted me out of my spiral. I turned and froze. Mrs. Smith. Her sharp eyes scanned the mess—the broken displays, the scattered products, and the three girls sprawled among the wreckage. Her gaze shifted to me, and the disgust in her expression made my stomach churn.

Her eyes sparkled when she saw our minions. She flashed her puppy dog eyes and smiled victoriously when Mia was passed over. After asking Mia’s name, she blessed her. It was something that only Precozas by birth were able to do. “I, Imeela Precoza, bless you, Mia Hope Steel, with two things that will help you be the best Alpha that you can be. I bless you with enhanced bravery so that you can face any threat or foe and enhanced perception so that you can navigate this life with a sixth sense, seeing what the eyes cannot.”

Mia pulled over to the available parking spot and got out of the car. There was a large window that gave Mia a glimpse of the store. There were shelves of antiques and bottles that reminded her of witchcraft. She checked the address again and confirmed that this was indeed the spot. She folded the document which was the second page of the documents that Luca had sent her into her pocket. As she entered the store, the bell above the door dinged, signaling her entry. There was the sound of shuffling. “Welcome to small wishes and print.” A cheerful voice said from behind the counter. She'd been sitting down, her leg propped on the wooden counter but when she spotted Mia, she sprung to her feet.

It wasn't like Michael was going to tell her the truth any time soon. "Get your Christmas gifts here!" Mia shouted, attracting the attention of the many shoppers that swizzled by the shop, turning their heads every time she would speak. She had recently landed a cashier job in a homemade gift shop; it was an independent business owned by a kind middle-aged lady; the owner used younger wolves to sell her products and get profit.

“I will be forever in your debt.” I shook my head and took her hands in mine. “She is the most wonderful creature I’ve ever encountered. Mia saved me from a lifetime of misery. I am only indebted to the Goddess for bestowing her to me,” I said. “And I will never let any harm ever come to her or our pups,” I added. With tears trailing down her cheeks, she embraced Mia and gave her final goodbye before turning to the car.
