He sat down on the stool beside Michael, patting him on the knee as he adjusted himself to seat comfortably. “Oh, it’s nothing.” Michael said, putting his phone away, as he gestured for the bar man to bring two drinks. “So, what do you have for me?” Blake asks, opening the cold bottle the barman just brought.

Momo muttered, blood oozing from his mouth. I gazed at Billy and Kate, who slowly crawled out of the layers of blocks. Their eyes were all white, pleading for a way out of their calamity. “Everyone get behind me.” Pastor Timothy commanded. They scrambled, hoping to get themselves next to the high and mighty Pope Timothy. Kate got herself out of the block, her bones making crackling sounds as she lay on the floor. They stepped back, wondering how a child had managed to crawl all the way out despite the layers of concrete weighing them down.

He adjusted the microphone with a steady, infuriatingly calm hand. "Ladies and gentlemen of the press, please," Killian said, his silver-blue eyes scanning the chaotic room with an icy indifference that seemed to freeze the air. "What you just witnessed is the tragic, unhinged breakdown of a bankrupt man who has lost everything." A few reporters quieted down, but the shouting continued at the front. "What about the papers, Mr. Blackwood? He claimed to have the contract!”

“He’s to British to throw a blowout party. My guess would be Kylie Jenner. She seems the party type.” “What about Michael B. Jordan?” I asked. “He probably would host a fun party.” “Too serious and focused on his work,” Kamron was grinning now. “I’ve got it! Jack Black!” I giggled as Jeremy sat in his chair. “What are we talking about?” “My blowout party!” Nate exclaimed. Simone I was sitting at my desk sifting through new listings when a voice said, "Excuse me, are you Simone?" I looked up to see a tall, attractive black man standing in front of me. He was looking at me with a shit-eating grin that I couldn't quite decipher. "Well, damn, I see why Michael is so obsessed with you," he said. I immediately blushed, hoping none of my co-workers were listening. I looked around, and thankfully they were all busy. A couple girls looked the man up and down appreciatively, but otherwise ignored us.

Then their expressions underwent an instant transformation, with Noah's turning the most vile shade of smug imaginable while Michael's face twisted into a vision of barely contained rage. "What the fuck are you doing there?" Michael growled lowly, his voice low and dangerous. "I don't know where you got the impression that I have to answer to you, Mr Black," Noah replied as he stepped outside to pull the door mostly closed behind him. A dark smirk spread across his face as he gestured back to the house with a slight tilt of his head. "But as you can see, I just finished spending the night at my fiancee's and I would very much like to go back to sleeping now."

Feeling annoyed by the disturbance, Carl Black frowned deeply and looked up, only to see Daniel Brooke standing beside him. Raising his eyebrows, Carl Black smirked, "Mastermind Mr. Brooke, what a pleasant surprise. Did you come here to watch the show?" Spreading his hands on either side, he smiled and added, "Look at me. I am totally defeated by you. You destroyed my life completely. Are you happy now?"

I refuse. "There's Seth." I whip my attention back to the T.V. and there he is, standing by a wall as some dude in an expensive, fitted suit addresses the media from his platform dead in the center of the screen. A heartbeat later, white wording along the bottom of the screen introduces him as David Black, CEO of the MMAC. Sponsors line the wall behind him, as do women wearing red short shorts and tiny bikinis.
