Millen stared, and for the first time since this fight began, I saw genuine uncertainty cross her face. "Impossible," she whispered. "You just gave birth. You should not be able…" She cut herself off as I took a step forward, and the floor cracked beneath my paw, like it couldn't contain the power flowing through my entire body. Then her expression hardened into something colder than ice. "It doesn't matter," her words came out as a growl. Shock flashed across my face as I realised something since this fight. Millen was not using her full power, all this time.

On the fourth stab he hit just below the enemies helmet, hitting their gorget, slicing the strap holding their helmet and knocking the foes helmet clean off. Boro quickly took advantage of his now toppled opponent and just as he was about to deal the killing blow he saw the pale skin and bright green eyes that looked up at him. She was older now, but Boro remembered her face like he remembered every inch of his blade, with perfect recollection. He thought he had loved her once, so how could he ever forget her face, older or not. The eyes that looked up into his own were the fear filled eyes of non other then Nila.

Before I could react, the vicious woman grabbed my hair, forcing me to look up at her. She hissed, "Are you that woman who seduced my husband?" Slapping me again, she taunted me. "Sure. You're quite pretty. But you made the wrong move to seduce the husband of Tara Jameson!" Tara Jameson? I searched my mind for the name, but it did not ring a bell.

“Help! Riley! Ow… Please stop hitting me!” As blood began to spill from the corner of his mouth, he broke down into ragged pleas. “Riley… I know I was wrong… Please let me go…” Riley released him like he was nothing more than trash. Then, she signaled the bodyguards to hold him down again. This time, she picked up the surgical knife from the table, and her left hand traced lightly over his face. “You don’t deserve to have this face.” In one swift motion, the blade came down, and a deep cut split across Leo’s face. Leo struggled violently, his screams turning frantic and broken as pain overwhelmed him. However, Riley simply watched on coldly.

Monstrous emotions twirled up in Rosaleen's eyes as she stared back at her reflection from the mirror. What was real pain other than this? She could see bloodstains all over even though she knew they weren't there, but they were there. They stared back at her. Her pupils shook, firing back at the pool of blood. " Rosaleen," her mother howled from the kitchen, a tint of excitement in her voice. This was when she snapped out of her daze.
