Mia turned her sketchbook around without a word and held it up so only I could see. She had drawn all of them. Without looking down. From memory and instinct and the particular vision she had always had for the shape of things before they were finished. Five figures this time. Room left for more.

Cadma's point of view - "I love you, what is the big deal about a mate anyway? I bet the Gods and Goddesses put our names are in a Male jar and a Female, which the Gods pull the names out of. I can see a God say Look this name is Jack and that name is Jill. They are perfect together!" I watched Ashina break down in laughter at what I had said. She always thinks I am joking; I am not joking. I know how spunky she is, determined and stubborn. When she is stern her eyebrows knit together and then she is like a volcano boiling over. Akira laughs at my jokes; I mean really my jokes aren't the least bit funny.

Last hour was arts. Arts teacher Miss Anderson just told us to draw a scenery. I wasn't actually in a good mood to draw and I ended up drawing my typical sketch of a river with cherry blossom on one side and a blurry ashy hill behind. But it wasn't bad. I got an A for it.

Amy and her companions just snickered at Arosh's response. "Ma’am, somebody obstructed my work." Said Arosh as she stood up. Her educator and different schoolmates moved toward her. When she saw the drawing she was saying with the substance of a lady with horns, she was additionally astonished "Huh, that's what is?!" astonished her educator inquired. "Goodness, it's frightening." Some of her colleagues said when they saw the abnormal drawing. "I don't have the foggiest idea." Arosh answered to her educator.

I picked it up and took a seat on the bed, before flipping it open. It was filled with… drawings. Drawings so realistic, they told stories better than any picture ever could. A smile curved on my lips at the fact that Asher drew all this. On the first page was the picture of a woman, who reminded me of Jane—or perhaps it was just the fact that she had red hair.. I turned over to the next page. On it was the drawing of a boy, seated in a dark empty space. The third drawing gave me a pause. It was of a woman in a bathtub, her wrist split and blood gushing out of the wound.

She looked exhausted Dave was on the couch beside Ava, who had fallen asleep against his shoulder. Lisha’s face softened immediately. “Oh no,” she whispered. “Did she wait up again?” Dave nodded quietly. “She wanted to show you her drawing.” Lisha looked at the small paper on the coffee table. A stick-figure drawing. Three people holding hands. But the middle one was drawn much smaller than the others. Like she was far away. Lisha swallowed. “Dave…” she said softly. “I know,” he replied.

Lillian POV I sat in the garden, painting my sorrows away. I have made lots of paintings, and most of them are of Asher. Ever since he started ignoring me, I cried, but when I got tired of crying, I decided to pour out my every emotion into painting. I painted the family Asher, and I imagined. We have always wanted a big family, so I painted Asher and me with Zira in our middle; we are all smiles. Then in the background of the picture are little children, but with no faces. It’s funny how time has gone by and Asher and I keep drifting apart, but I know I am slowly getting used to it. I am getting used to the silence and being alone. You just need to care about people besides me.” Akiko waited for a reply, but Kenji remained silent as Kenzo stood up and handed his drawing to Akiko. It was no longer just a scribble; it depicted a figure with a stick body and a large head. But seeing the long hair of one of the figures made it clear that Kenzo was trying to draw Akiko, and not alone. Kenji was beside her. Kenzo even added the detail of their hands holding each other. “Is this me?” Akiko asked. Kenzo nodded.

Ada Wood thought for a moment and finally ordered a cup of fresh lemon juice. Now she does not love sweet and greasy milk tea. With a brush in her hand, she never needs any pigment. With a charcoal pen, she can paint a colorful world. She closed her eyes, empty herself and take a deep breath. Then open her eyes and start drawing. In front of her, Adair Carter stepped on the beach barefoot and was smiling at her. Adair Carter, has always been with her. The first painting after her release from prison should be for him. She picks up the pen and draws it on the sand on the paper.
