Nothing pulls me out of a weird mood faster than doodling. As we go through the scene for the umpteenth time, I find myself doing rough sketches of the men in front of me. None of my drawings ever look particularly realistic - my doodles have more of a cartoony, comic book style - but I'm pretty proud of how they turn out. Once I've done Omar and Mr. Grand, I move on to the person I really want to doodle - Orlando. I don't get him right the first time. Or the second. Or the third. At first I can't seem to get his hair right, but by the end it's his eyes that are giving me the most trouble. Nothing I draw can capture how startling and direct they are.

But now, he was here, standing in front of me, holding out a drawing like a peace offering. With a smile, I took it gently, carefully unfolding the paper. But my smile faded as I stared down at the image in my hands. It was just like his other drawings—dark, stark lines, the same unsettling red and blacks—but this one was different. It wasn’t just a vague scene. It was a face. A man’s face, drawn in heavy black strokes. Dark eyes, a cruel mouth. And beneath it, in the wobbly handwriting of a child, was a name.

“I don't know currently, I'll tell you later. And you can't laugh not tell anyone, not even Carmen, Promise??” This must be something great, since Carmen must not see it. “You've my words, simply get your ass up and allow me to see.” Katie sat in her seat and Robert got on one knee close to her with his elbow on the desk. She lifted the cover a portion of an inch, then shut it. “Try not to chuckle.” Robert didn't giggle or say anything. The drawing was of a female champion with her feet broadly planted and her arms over her head, using a giant club. She was wearing boots that went dependent upon her knees, and that's it.

My subconscious blamed me. "You know I will not worry too much about anything." I said to myself. I pulled off my coat and sat on the couch to study the drawings. I have five beings to find and I haven't found any. The three of us had five drawings which were all the same, that made the whole thing look more real. The first, a little boy, around Kabal's age. He has a special kind of eye, it looked too white, not gray, he's a little shepard. Second, like a slave girl, I see that she works in a brothel, She has a short hair that barely reached her shoulder. Third, a male with a pet, a white wild cat. Fourth, also a male, he has a birthmark beneath his left eye. The fifth, it's hard to discern

She was somewhere around seven or eight, completely absorbed in whatever she was drawing, her tongue pressed to the corner of her mouth in concentration. I lowered myself carefully into a chair near her, mindful of my ribs, and looked at the paper. The drawing was full. Not in a crowded way, in a deliberate way, like she had a clear picture in her head and was working her way across the page with intention. There was a dragon in the top left, red and blocky with impressive teeth. Below it, a woman in a red cape with a pointed hat on a flying broom, carefully coloured with a orange crayon. To the right of that, something with fangs and a dark cape that I was fairly certain was meant to be a v

The other children were busy working on their assignments, but Hibiki’s mind was already somewhere else—he had been thinking about the treehouse he had drawn at home the night before. His teacher, Mrs. Nakamura, had asked them to draw something that represented their imagination, and Hibiki had spent the entire evening sketching a dreamlike treehouse—one with twisting vines, brightly colored windows, and a ladder made of vines that seemed to lead straight to the clouds. The treehouse was a magical place, a world of possibilities where adventure could happen at any moment.

Mingchan then took a gaze at his drawing. “Did you make this because you are programmed or…” Mukgu asked him. Drawing was the similar ground that brought him and Min-a closer despite their age gap of 4 years. Min-a, unlike other kids, didn't start art by drawing their favorite cartoon character or a friend, he started by drawing shades of different lighting because he wanted to see how it made him feel. That was Duncan's confirmation that Min-a was a special kid. His views still hadn't changed about him as he sat on the waiting bench for over two hours, browsing through the boy's I*******m.

Noah was on the floor with the drawing unrolled in front of him. He had added something in the lower right corner. Small. Specific. We crouched down to look. It was a house. Not Captain Fossil's house. A house. With a pitched roof and four windows and a garden. And three figures at the right side. A tall one. A medium one. A small one with a fossil in his hand. But different from the drawing on the kitchen table. In this version the three figures were inside the house. Not at the right side.

he nodded, offering me the folder. I smiled. Of course, Darius boasts about his brother. I truly love that about these boys. They are always supportive of each other and our granddaughter. The four of them are a great balance to each other. I opened the folder and nod with a smile as I looked at the manga-style drawings. It was apparently me, in my youth, wearing my black jumpsuit with red trim and my face hidden behind the white and red kitsune mask in some panels. It was beautiful even though it showed a story of blood and darkness.
