I stripped and washed the dried blood off my clothes with a piece of damp cloth before wading into the river and washing the blood from my hair and body. “Are you still alive?” Prince Dagon asked in my head. Ignoring him, I looked at my reflection in the river, my golden eyes stared back at me, my face was paler than usual.
