Maya acts like she has something on her, which makes her beneath her. Maya was always careful when they did rough play, but not since then. Morgana would even get more bruised than when she played with random kitties in their clan. Maya would not apologise and claimed Ayana is there to heal her anyway. It breaks Morgana's heart to be betrayed like this, but she just doesn't understand why. She thought they were friends. What Morgana had no idea was that Maya was gifted with powers to see things and also create things she wants people to see.

Mother Mary explained to Mirabel, who was staring at the Laki sand. She walked to a round stone table in the middle of the room and pressed her hand into the interior of the table, causing the inner part of the table to go in and shortly reveal a round orb that was emitting a dense blue light. "What is that?" Mirabel asked as she walked forward to stand beside Mother Mary at the table. "It's the Blue Miracle." Mother Mary smiled as she spoke and stared at the blue orb. "The Blue Miracle." Mirabel nodded as she repeated, completely clueless as to what the Blue Miracle was.

I trusted her, and I felt she could help me sort out this mess with my boss. "He said that? That you could get away with a fake marriage if you didn't get a license?" Mary asked as she brushed a strand of her lavender curls away from her face. She sat on one of our mismatched dining chairs, with one foot resting on the seat, sipping tea from a psychedelic coffee mug she had made in seventh grade. "Yes. Then he said how important the company was to him and that he would give me a bonus." I poured the cooked fettuccine into the colander and dumped it back into the pot.

Mira was turning into something Maya had never seen before. Suddenly the log that heavy was moving, making it easy for her to breath. “Ahhhh….” Maya let out another scream as Mira suddenly picked it up the large log like it was nothing. There was a strange white wind growing around Mira, she looked nothing like a human. She was doing things that a human couldn't do either. Mira backed away slightly, still coughing blood. Mira then threw the log away, landing on The water on the other side.

It was time. Mira struggled to breath as her body was washed, oiled and perfumed by her mother and Mary, her maid. Her mother had even made some suggests for the night. Mira was mildly aghast, but definitely embarrassed by some of the things her mom had said. While Mary had simply smirked at Lady Amethyst's suggestions and nodded, with a wicked glint in her eye.

The scent of healing herbs and antiseptic filled the air, but something else too—familiarity. Lying on one of the cots was a girl—no more than sixteen—with amber eyes that mirrored mine. She sat up, startled by our approach. “This is Mira,” Lily said softly. “She came in from the border last night. One of the surviving hybrids. Her mother was a witch… but she defected. Tried to save others before the battle. Mira’s all that’s left.” The girl looked at me like I was a myth. Her lips trembled. “You’re the one who stopped it all?”
