“Oh, I’d like you to meet my girlfriend, Isla.” Miranda finally looked at me, like I had just appeared out of nowhere. There was a brief pause, and in that moment, I caught the flicker of disappointment in her eyes, followed quickly by something sharper—dislike. “Hi,” she said curtly, before turning straight back to Lucas like I wasn’t worth a second more of her time. They began catching up, slipping into easy conversation. I listened quietly, piecing things together. She was Mrs. Morgan’s niece, who was in her late twenties, recently returned from studying abroad, and was currently completing some kind of professional training. And today, apparently, was her birthday.

Maya had repeatedly told them not to let Miranda break her contract, but now, their plans were all spoiled. She rode forward. THIRD PERSON'S POV:- Mira opened her eyes and found herself standing in front of the full view mirror. She was looking at herself. She looked very young. She looked almost sixteen or maybe seventeen. She was wearing a long mermaid style, off shoulder white dress. It was backless and the upper layer of the dress was shimmery. She had a crown on her head. A princess crown that had the long lace veil attached with it. She remembered that crown on her head. It was the crown Fredrick had gifted her on her twelfth birthday. He wanted to make her feel like a princess the day they would get married.

"You are just the one I am looking for Mira. The pack guards are looking for you. Meredith smiled. "What do.........?" I was about to ask but she replied instead. "You are under arrest, Mira, for breaking pack law and for murder." I glared at Meredith while Mira held onto my hands, squeezing it.

Ignoring the boredom comment, I answered the important part. “Amelia.” It felt strange calling her that, but she was right. We needed to act more familiar. “Who’s Amelia?” Noah asked. Carter’s expression was pure disapproval. Hamilton looked curious. “Mrs. Nichols,” I told Noah. “Who?” I rolled my eyes. “My assistant, idiot.” “Jesus, Ry,” Carter said. “That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. You’re supposed to expand the business, not bankrupt us.” “I know. But she agreed.”

Liv asks Owen, not specifying which girl that she is talking about, but he already knows. He nods. “Yeah, her name has been on the news for days. Her name is Miranda Lyle. She is twenty six years old and she just graduated from law school. She passed the bar and her family was incredibly proud of her. She disappeared four days ago from outside the restaurant in Bismark, where they were celebrating her.”

Alex and Jessica both were warriors and were dedicated to the Pack. Lacie went with black leather pants, a lace black top with a cami underneath and black heels. Lily was sporting a green leather mid-thigh dress with short sleeves and black ankle boots. Monica was all black – black mini skirt with black corset style top and black heels. I clearly understood what she had asked but her question was...... so.... materialistic! Plus! the fact she had still called me 'Mira', considering my clarification had gotten me.
