Rejecting Me for Another

Rejecting Me for Another

It wasn't until I landed in a small town on the other side of the world that I turned it back on. The moment I turned it on, a cascade of alerts and messages came pouring in. After I blocked her number, Beverly used a new number to message me. Beverly: "Raymond, why did you do this? Even if you had to sell your shares, you could've sold them to me. Why Erika?" Beverly: "Could you just pick up the phone? Or at least text me back!" Beverly: "Just say something. I really can't lose you!"

Destined to be Rejected

Destined to be Rejected

I mean, who likes being rejected? “Yannah, we should be working,” I desperately wanted to get out of this misery. “No, you have to listen to me now… anyway, we barely have anything to do,” she said. As a matter of fact, we indeed have barely anything to do at this point – our Master usually just sits inside his office the whole day and we do the work which we see we need to do.

Claimed by the Seven Alphas

Claimed by the Seven Alphas

* Each escalation underscored, twice, in ink that bit into the paper. Signed. Stamped. Submitted. Three days. The brown envelope returned to his tray. Same black seal. Same printed line: *Omegas do not require low-dose inhibitors.* He laid the rejection notice on the desk and looked at it for a long time. The letters did not change. The paper did not ignite. He reached out and took the edge of the page between his thumb and forefinger. Pinched. The paper crumpled inward, buckling along a diagonal crease. His knuckles went the color of bone. The fibers compressed under his grip and stayed compressed after he let go.

Alpha Lucious

Alpha Lucious

The Alpha looked completely broken, just like someone who had nothing to live for anymore. Kai had no idea what to say. He had heard of how painful rejection was said to be if one refused of the mates refuses to accept. It was said to be unbearable as it drained one out both physically and emotionally. Some even end up dying when their bodies couldn’t put up with it any longer so, Kai could only imagine what both the Alpha and his mate had to go through. It couldn’t possibly be easy. “ I tried,” Lucious continued after a while. “ I tried.. I tried my best to make her take it back. I refused to accept the rejection because I wanted to fix my mistakes, I just wanted to fix everything. I did ev

TOO HOT FOR MR. EX-HUSBAND

TOO HOT FOR MR. EX-HUSBAND

I just shoved the gadget into her hand. “Oh my,” she slurred as she swiped through the message that sat on the screen. Then she moved, pulling me into a hug. “I'm so sorry, Maya.” She patted my back. This was the fifth rejection message I had received in my mailbox since the day I was at my Mom's. I didn't know what hurt most even now, the fact that these companies rejected my application without even scheduling an interview, or the fact that the messages were almost the same.

Rejected By My Mate

Rejected By My Mate

That's good because the last thing I want is for him to have a glance at my glowing eyes. His rejection shattered my heart into small pieces. My mate rejected me! I held both my knees and buried my face while crying my heart out. Why am I so unlucky in life? My mate just rejected me and I couldn't have a mate again. How cruel can he be? I feel so useless now. I balled my fist, then stood up with tears that blurred my vision and ran towards the barn while sobbing and slamming the door when I got inside. Layla startled and yelped.

The Way He Looked at Me

The Way He Looked at Me

“I’ve tried to unpack it for years. Therapy, journaling, overthinking until my brain hurts. And none of it helped. All it’s done is remind me how intense my reaction was and how powerless I felt. How completely I misjudged him, how completely I trusted myself and failed.” Mae smiled that wry, impish smile of hers. “Oh, dear. Not an asshole. Rejection is brutal. It hits harder than anything else, because it’s not just what they say it’s what they don’t say, what they cannot say, but the way they act instead.”

Sin For me, Daddy.

Sin For me, Daddy.

Her scowl softened, and for a fleeting moment, a spark of hope ignited within her. But hope can be a cruel thing. As her eyes scanned the email, her stomach dropped, and the faint flicker of optimism was extinguished. She blinked in disbelief, willing the words on the screen to change. Her hands trembled as she closed and reopened the message, but reality refused to bend to her desperation. A rejection. A freaking rejection email glares back at her. Pain stabbed at her chest, sharp and unrelenting. Her breath hitched, her vision blurred with fresh tears, and her hands clenched the phone as if trying to crush the source of her misery. Her plans, her dreams, her carefully constructed escape fr

Going Rogue

Going Rogue

He was also feeling the pain of the rejection. “It will continue to get worse until you accept the rejection,” he grunted through his own pain. I didn’t know if this was true or not, but I didn’t know how much more of this I could take. It’s so rare for someone to actually reject their mate that there weren’t many details on what happened, or what it was like. The pain increased again, and Atticus and I were both physically bending under the pain and the weight of the rejection. “Accept it,” he growled.

This was actually a really good book. Glad I gave it a try. She really was trying to help in her own way but some people are just so selfish. I hate that she had to go through all of that but I’m glad she got a happy ending.

Good story, different from many other stories and there was some surprises... Really a tragic story even if it ended well in the end. I did skip easy over some parts to get faster through the story, but the plot was interesting.

Fleeing her Rejected Mate

Fleeing her Rejected Mate

I’d nod but i don’t think it’s going to get any slower soon. My heart has been racing faster because of the child. It’s normal. ”We were right. Bryce was rejected.” Her breath catches, but she doesn't react, which tells me one thing, “You knew.” “I suspected.” I let out the breath of air caught in my chest and turn to look at her, “How can we send him off to college when he’s suffering? He just got rejected.” Mor doesn't break her eye contact, “Two weeks ago. He got rejected two weeks ago and he has done everything in his power to move on from it. He’s not treating himself like a lilly, we shouldn't treat him like one.”
