Maliyah “No!” Luca appears in front of me and takes the bullet. It hits him right in the stomach and he falls to the ground. “Stupid boy,” says the hunter as he reloads his gun and points it at me again. “Charlie promised he wouldn’t kill her!” “Yeah well you also said she wasn’t a wolf,” says the hunter as he prepares to pull the trigger. I didn’t even know if the battle was still raging; I didn’t know who had survived and who had fallen; I didn’t know anything, except that Hunter had been dead and now, somehow, incredibly, amazingly, he was alive.
