I shrugged. "You're a smart kid. Smarter than Arturo," he said as he patted my head. "Thanks," I mumbled in response. The door suddenly barged open and Alexis came inside. "He's coming back," she said as she approached me. "Wait, what? I thought he was going to be gone for a few more days," Milan said, panic evident on his face. "Yep, I thought so too. So now we don't have time to refine the plan, we're just going to have to do it," she said before pulling out a gun and hitting the back of my head.

Timidly, Nana placed a cup of hot tea on the table. “Please drink it first, Sir.” “Thank you, Nana.” Marcel nodded, but Shirley immediately pushed the cup aside until the contents spilled out. “Shirley!” Marcel scolded him because he felt that his wife had gone too far. “Can you act like a normal wife or not?” “Noisy,” said Shirley with a challenging look at Marcel. “Don’t give him any food, Nana! It’s really delicious, I’m wandering around and don’t come home, suddenly I show up asking for food! Shameless, huh!”

“Perhaps when you finally wake up and you are feeling better, we can have a picnic on the grass. Nina can make her famous cupcakes.” I swallow hard. My mouth feels completely dry. “They are unbelievably good, Betty. The cupcakes just melt right in your mouth. The taste is incredible.” I reach out. My fingers hover over her cold, limp hand. I do not touch her. I cannot risk breaking the spell of her quiet breathing. “I know you loved the pancakes that she made for you with the maple syrup. But these cupcakes are a class above. Truly.” A floorboard creaks outside the room. I do not look up.

said Xaviera seriously. "Mom, are you kidding? You know I haven't male friends for a long time because of Beck. Damn it, he really made me have no male friends," Vanilla grumbled. Xaviera chuckled softly. He rolled out the bread dough which he had filled with a whole sausage. "And you will forever be a baker?" Vanilla shrugged her shoulders. "This is fun."

My heart swells as I make a wish for us to be together. “Get it?” he teases me. He sets the candles on the table. “One. Eight. Eighteen for your age.” “I like cupcakes,” I tell Calum. My mum liked to bake them. When she died, I moved to another comfort food. He pecks my nose and chuckles. I push myself on my tiptoes, lips almost touching his. “I really like my gift, Mr Calum Dissick.” “That’s not a gift. It’s cupcake.”

I look down and gasp with delight when I see that it’s a pink cupcake. “I couldn’t find a candle, but I figured it’s the thought that counts.” He mutters gruffly. A warm smile spreads across my lips at his gesture. No one has ever done something like this for me. Biting my lower lip, I sit up, take the cupcake and dip my index finger inside of the delicious buttercream icing. The sweet concoction zings in my tongue, creating a delicious explosion of flavors. Moaning with pleasure, I sensually lick my finger. I know that I'm a tease, but I really want to see his reaction. And boy, do I get a reaction. Ewan’s pupils are so wide that his eyes are nearly pitch black. My body throbs with arousal

He left me with a muddled mind and ten cupcakes on the coffee table. Well, at least there’s cupcakes. And, oh, my caramel macchiato, too! ****

I called out, pushing in back all the tears threatening to spill, "Am I missing something here? You made me a beautiful cupcake that blew my mind, and your little notes made me fall more in-love with you. And now you are acting all weird, what's going on?" "Did you really think I made the cupcakes?" He burst out into a series of laughter, his voice resounding off the walls. "I simply called one of the chefs in the kitchen and got them to bake the cupcake. And that whole box shaped like a ten-storey building, I got off YouTube." Why would I waste my energy on a slave?" "What? Did you just call me a slave?" I asked, shocked. The other words he had said passed through my other ear immediately.

"See," "You made cupcakes,” He said. “They look nice," "Won't you try them out?” She tilted her head to the side. “Nana taught me how to make nice cupcakes. I’m sure you'll love them. I made them all in different flavors," "No, thanks,” He pecked her cheeks. “I don't take sugar," "At all?” She asked, her mood dropping. "Nope," He smiled at her. “Okay, let’s do this,” He pinched her cheeks when he noticed her foul mood. “Why don't you package them for me? I’ll have them all tomorrow at the warehouse,"

His question snapped me back to reality, and the warmth of his presence nearby was oddly comforting. He sat down on the same couch I was on, and I couldn't help but feel the gentle heat of his body against mine. Stammering, I attempted to explain, "I... I'm fine, Alpha, I just..." Before I could continue, he interrupted me, his voice filled with a mischievous tone, "It's Hot Muffins to you now, Cupcake... don't forget that!" A strange grin spread across his lips as he reached for the pancakes sitting right before us.
