Lana’s POV Dawn pale light seeped into the sky a gentle hush that disturbed the night and a whisper that didn’t want to wake anyone. For a while, I lost track of time unaware of the darkness fading. The city’s hum outside had quieted into that strange, waiting stillness that only comes before morning fully arrives…before traffic begins, before people remember to exist again. The room was hushed a deep silence that seems to vibrate with anticipation.
