My stomach grumbled so loud I was embarrassed. “Okay, I have to say it,” I said as we joined the line. “This food is insane... like, truly insane. This is better than most restaurants.”
Lake chuckled. “Well, it’s the least they can do with how much the admission costs.”
He wasn’t wrong. Silverglade didn’t come cheap. It was an elite school, and the fees reflected that. The majority of students came from wealthy families, including us. However, there were still exceptions.
