“So let me get this straight. Our daughter has a possible bond, who is possibly dead, and we have a possible description of him?… anyone else getting a headache?”
“Me,” I grunt. “I don’t know what to do. I didn’t ask for any of this.”
“We know, bean,” my mum says softly, kneeling beside my chair. “But you don’t have to face this alone.”
I nod, unable to speak. My chest is tight, and I don’t know if it’s panic, grief, or something else.
“Wouldn’t you be able to see the connection if he is her bond?” Mason asks Sage.
“If he was alive and in this realm, yes. I only see four for her.”
