Faith and the three fates.

Faith and the three fates.

“I don’t know but you need to summarise what is said in the book for us” “How do I not know that you two aren’t the wrong hands you speak of” I say jokingly before poking my tongue out. When the child of light the moon goddess’s child and the dark knight roam this plain together the Great War shall begin between good and evil. CHASE…..

Moonlit Shadows

Moonlit Shadows

The door creaked open, revealing the beta, Kass. “Alpha Gabriel” Kass greeted respectfully, entering the room and shutting the door behind him. Kass is the strongest werewolf after me, making him my right-hand man and the pack’s Beta after the death of our parents. Physically, Kass is like the genie in Aladdin… Strongly built with large arms, strong arms and a serious face but a bit playful. Kass and I have been friends since childhood even though he’s two years younger than I am, not that I mind though. We didn’t fight a lot growing up, we mostly agreed on almost every single thing but Kass is a really serious person, not really though. He’s the type that’s serious when he should and is pla

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

The sheer primitive need she was controlled by was closer to agony than ecstasy. “You’re mine... from this moment on,” Christophe spelled out roughly. “Tu es à moi… (French for ‘you are mine’) Lara collided with glittering dark eyes, unreadable in the moonlight, and her mouth ran suddenly dry, a shaft of returning sanity tightening her every muscle in rejection. But his hand slid over her quivering body, shattering her with her own response.

Oriol walked to go and boast in front of Minerva but a white light just shined as Minerva teleported out. "you are sure intimidating," Miratio said as he teleported out too while Uraraka only looked before teleporting out too. Isekai looked at Thanatos then teleported out while Thanatos could only smile at Oriol before teleporting too. "guess i am too intimidating," Oriol said before teleporting too.

1001 Dark Tales

1001 Dark Tales

“IT’S JUST I HAD a different book in mind when ink spilled on this one, plus what’s left to do in a finished book?” They, of course, ignored me Completely probably deciding if I would not explain, they were just going to proceed. One of the three waved their hand above the inky darkness we were standing on, and instantly a book on a pedestal was in front of them on the floor. It showed off my title, ‘1001 Dark Tales’. I instantly held my breath, hoping they didn’t realize what that meant. But if they had, they said nothing. Instead, they just started flipping through the pages of the book, looking for which store to choose.

The Rest Is Light

The Rest Is Light

Calvin's grip on my hand vanished instantly. I did not even want to spare them a second glance, so I turned and walked away. I could feel the sting of Rebecca's glare on my back. Soon enough, their laughter was a mere echo behind me. … The next morning, I grabbed my bags, ready to hit the road. However, the moment I stepped outside, the world went pitch black, and I was out cold. When I came to, I was tied to a chair.

The Last Light in the Dark

The Last Light in the Dark

Then, with purpose, I tossed it into the trash can. The sharp, hollow clink of metal hitting the bottom echoed through the quiet night. The wind brushed against me, its chill settling over my skin. I looked out over the night view, where even the dimmest stars held a faint trace of light. Then, I turned and stepped back inside, closing the door behind me. In that moment, I felt a stillness I had never known. Everything in the past had finally fallen with the stars into endless darkness. And ahead of me, there lay countless possibilities that I could explore one by one.

Secrets Written in Light

Secrets Written in Light

He was right — I never should have cared in the first place. There was nothing left to care about even then. I cut ties with every company chat group without a second thought. As the sky began to lighten, I made my way home but ran into Marvin at the elevator. He glanced at me like I was nothing, scorned, and quickly looked away. "Spent the night here mulling things over? Come to any realizations?" I hit the elevator button, my voice dripping with indifference. "Yeah, I've had an epiphany. I'm done."

Frequently Asked Questions

The reading order for Nisio Isin's 'Monogatari' series is famously confusing because of how the anime adaptation rearranged things. I've seen endless charts and threads on this. The core is to follow the novels' publication order, not the anime's timeline jump. Start with 'Kizumonogatari'. It was published second but chronologically first, and it introduces the foundational events with Araragi and Kiss-shot. Then go straight into 'Bakemonogatari' Parts One, Two, and Three, which cover the main five heroines. After that, you get into 'Nisemonogatari' and 'Nekomonogatari: Kuro'.

Where it gets tricky is the 'Second Season' novels. They're packaged differently but follow this sequence: 'Nekomonogatari: Shiro', 'Kabukimonogatari', 'Hanamonogatari', 'Otorimonogatari', 'Onimonogatari', and 'Koimonogatari'. I messed this up originally and read 'Hanamonogatari' too early; it's set way later and spoiled a character's status for me. The 'Final Season' starts with 'Tsukimonogatari', then 'Koyomimonogatari'—don't skip the short story collections, 'Koyomi' has a critical ending. Finish with 'Owarimonogatari' Parts One and Two, and then 'Zoku Owarimonogatari'.

I'd avoid the strictly chronological order for a first read. The non-linear reveal is part of the storytelling craft. Publication order has a logic the author intended, even if it feels disjointed at first. The fan-translated PDFs floating around usually list them correctly, and the official Vertical translations are now mostly complete following that order, which helps.
