Sweat rolled down Bonnie’s forehead as the creature stepped closer and closer to their cornered position. A strange seal on the creature’s left arm caught Taylor’s eye. It was a woman with the body of a snake and the wings of a demon whose long hair was encircled. “Echidna,” Taylor uttered at the devastating monster. “Echidna?” The gelatinous monster arched its back. “What’s going on?” Bonnie asked Taylor. The creature expelled its venom directly at the two teenagers. Taylor ran in front of Bonnie and held out his two hands.

She screamed and hid behind him when she saw us. “WHO ARE YOU?!” Big Boss exclaimed looking back and forth on us. I take a good look at him. He looks like the same age as me. “It’s not for you to know.” Black Dragon answered pointing his gun to him. I gripped my own gun, ready to use it if needed. Big Boss is about to move while the woman positioned to run. Black Dragon spoke. “Move even an inch and I’ll blow your heads simultaneously.” His voice sounded cold and emotionless. I looked at him and was startled to see his face expressionless. He looked like a professional cold blooded killer. Big Boss and the woman froze. Black Dragon turned to the woman.

He blinked up through blurry eyes, wiping at his tears, and then— His heart stopped. A monstrous figure loomed above him. "Grahhhhhhhh!" The creature was unlike anything he had ever seen. Towering, grotesque. Three times the size of a normal wolf. Its eyes burned a hellish red, gleaming with an unnatural hunger. Claws, long and curved, glinted under the weak moonlight. Saliva dripped from jagged teeth as it growled, a sound so deep it rattled through Logan’s bones.
