My lover is a Monster

My lover is a Monster

Their eyes met, and finally the silence broke between them. "What is it you want to say?" Mark asked gently, his gaze sincere, making Julie swallow hard as she remembered her current situation—single, with her partner in prison. If Liam truly was the perpetrator, then there was no hope for her future with him. The look that Mark had, which was directed at Julie, immediately made the girl forget that she promised Liam to fix everything. "Elizah keeps screaming hysterically whenever she hears or mentions the word 'monsters.' I take it that 'monsters' is plural, meaning more than one person committed this crime against her," Julie said, her voice calmer than before.

AZRAEL

AZRAEL

“Wrath will get you” He opens his palm and creates a ball of energy and sends it outside. At first, nothing happens. After a moment we heard heavy feet running and the two white cubs grew into monsters suddenly appear They are running to get us and they were twice as big as me and they immediately ran to us. While he is relaxed watching us taking his wine. We ran as fast as we could away from the monsters that he created. We run outside the room but it keeps on following us. They were fast because they have bigger steps than us. I spread my wings and grab Maria and fly before it reaches us. Their nails are too sharp enough to tear our flesh. “That was close,” Maria said.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

My heart dropped. “You see,” the demon continued, “treasures always demand a price.” Her voice drifted like smoke. “If you want the truth, go to the Stormspire Mountain. Every answer you seek waits there.” The doors burst open as the werewolf elders stormed in. Outside, strange, soft-bodied creatures were fighting the police—boneless, writhing, crawling across the garden like massive larvae. I stared at them in horror. The worms. “Oh,” Thalmyr giggled. “You’ve found my little gift. Do you like it?”

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

“My life is the stories I tell. And I want this story to be free.” Suddenly, the ground shook. The Paper Monster had crash-landed in the park—now twenty feet tall, a twisting mass of sharp paper and black ink. “The script must be finished!” the monster bellowed. He lunged for the Woman. Maya jumped in the way, and the silver locket flared with purple light. She raised it and a shield of energy blocked the monster’s path. “Go! Write the ending!” Maya yelled back. The Woman dropped to the grass, grabbed her pen, and started writing. Her hand shook, but her eyes were firm.

My Lycan Mate Rejection

My Lycan Mate Rejection

He must not have been paying attention to the shit that had been going on. “We have monsters lurking in our woods, killing our animals and our people. Poisoning the very air we breathe in. But they are drawn to corruption. To envy, to anger. They are drawn to the sin that is man and believe me the towns will be swarming with monsters of every size you know.” The very thought of it sent shivers down my spine. Some monsters could not blend in but a good number of them could and with a nose that could smell things even a werewolf could not have the overwhelming attention.

My Monster

My Monster

His eyes are entirely pitch black, and he doesn’t look the slightest bit bothered even as Vanya chokes and sputters, her shaking fingers desperately trying to push his boot off. “I don’t hit women, Vanya. But I fight monsters and crush them because I can. And you…you’re just another breed of monster. The kind that is destined to die by my hands.” She coughs up blood, struggling to breathe. Her eyes are bigger than I’ve ever seen them, bulging in their sockets. She looks…terrified. Slowly, he moves his feet off her throat, and she chokes. I watch as he crouches in front of her, staring at her with a blank look on his face.

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

Claimed by the Alphas

Claimed by the Alphas

It asks, sounding a little offended. “Blood, piles of bodies, death, call it whatever. Everything I see whenever I close my eyes is far worse than your face.” I answer, honestly. After that, the place grows deathly silent. The thing still keeps watching me, just not talking. This place is nice, I like it, but that doesn’t mean I can waste the precious time nobody clearly has. I clear my throat and look this thing straight in the eyes as I ask, “how do I get rid of the monster that lives in my mommy?”

Wanderers Of the Night

Wanderers Of the Night

- Get rid of the magic! The winged monster quickly turned around, knocked down several opponents with a wide swing of its wing, looked at the teenager confidently burning the dead with lightning, looked all the way, lingered on two she-wolves that grappled with several delonhas, and crossed his arms with a sharp movement.

The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

he says. The two wolves watch as we pass, moving from our land to no man's land, as I've heard my father call unclaimed territory. Rogue wolves, humans, bears-anything is free to wander here, maybe even the things my father warned me of since I was old enough to walk. Living in the mountains, in dense forest and haunting solitude, beings far scarier than the typical flesh and blood are whispered between children and warned by parents. My father told me not to go out alone, not too far from the land or too late at night. He said there are creatures that not even we can fend off. I knew the traditional rules: if you hear screaming, crying, voices, your name-come home. If it gets too quiet-come

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE
Gabbalaba
What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

Curse of the Hallow Moon

Curse of the Hallow Moon

“How are you getting something to eat?” “I broke into the candy machine, and the drinking fountain has water.” “Does the monster know you’re in here?” “I dunno, it never comes here.” “Where does it go?” “Sometimes it slides on the street. Sometimes it crawls in the grass.” “What does the monster do?” “It slides and eats stuff. It ate a squirrel. The squirrel tried to get away, but the monster crawled over it, and it was gone.” “Have you been anywhere else downtown?” “I wanted to go to the grocery store, but I’m too afraid. The monster will get me.”
